  • "I read a lot of negative reviews on Yelp, but we had no problem whatsoever. Our reservations was for 7pm on a Tuesday evening. We were seated immediately at a nice table. The server was attentive and the food was well-prepared. Larsen's even called me the following day to make sure we had a nice dinner. Considering this was in Simi Valley, I would say it's one of the nicest choices to dine there."

  • "With the restaurant located in a strip mall you don't always expect that much. Pleasantly surprised with straight up unpretentious quality in the style of traditional steakhouses. Menu has only three cuts of steak but the specials round out the selection to a full selection of steak cuts. New York Strip grilled to perfection with great mushrooms and onion, very flavorful prime rib with perfect horseradish, grilled broccolini with heavy garlic and grilled but perfectly crunchy asparagus. Finished with the lava cake. Great food all the way around."

  • "The food for our occasion was pretty good but the service was special. Our server was spot on, attentive from start to finish. Our dinner was to celebrate my mothers 82 birthday. During our appetizers she gave my mother a birthday card signed by the staff. At the conclusion Larsen's gave her a bowl of ice cream with chocolate syrup. I and my party, especially my mother thank team Larsen's."

Great modern steakhouse with the old style steakhouse seats, but modern enough not to have that dingy look that most steakhouses have. Great menu selections from Sushi, Fish, top notch steaks and Barbecue which was nice to see. Ate the Barbecue Ribs with Garlic Mashed Potatoes excellent taste and the meat fell right off the bone. Great Cesar Salad and Great Chocolate Brownie desert. I would eat here again when I pass through town.eat menu selections from Sushi, Fish, top notch steaks and Barbecue which was nice to see."

  • "My husband and I decided to have a rare night out alone with no kids and since my aunt gave us a gift card to Larsen's we decided to go there. From the moment we walked in they greeted us and seated us with in 5 minutes and our server was very tentative. We both ordered a petit filet and Mac and cheese both were wonderful. Also side note I really liked their dinner rolls that they provided before our food was served. They were delicious. Highly rexomment this restaurant"

  • "Larsen's provides a wonderful dining experience, with excellent food, excellent service, and an interesting menu. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, cocktails were great, and the wedge salad is a fine starter. On one visit, one of our party could not eat the rolls with garlic, so the server had the kitchen bake a batch without the garlic that is usually in them. That's service! My wife and I eat at Larsen's about once a month. We'll definitely be back."

  • "My Husband and I had dined in this restaurant for a belated Valentine's day and really enjoyed it. Our boy-girl twins were turning 25 and we decided to take them to Larsen's Grill. We brought our own birthday cake which was no problem. There was no charge for cutting and serving, however if you brought your own wine the corkage fee is $20.00 per bottle. A little excessive! All in all a great meal for six of us. Amazing service!"

  • "My husband & I received a giftcard from friends during the holidays, and we finally were able to use it this past weekend. I've been to other high-end steak houses before, so I'm familiar with how these places work. We decided to order an appetizer and split the main course, since we both wanted to get the prime rib. We ended up ordering the filet mignon sashimi & it was PHENOMENAL! Absolutely delicious! I could have eaten the entire app myself & loved every morsel of it. We ordered the prime rib 16 oz. portion with a giant loaded baked potato. I requested the main course be divided between us, and this was no problem at all. It was still A LOT of food! The prime rib was AMAZING! Cooked & seasoned perfectly! Highly recommend!"

  • "We were seated (5pm Reservations) 10mins late. It took about 25 minutes to get our drinks. It took about 20 minutes for the waitress to take our order. We were supposed to be finished with our meal and gone @ 6:30. We received our meal @ 6:35. We were finally told to take our time.... Granted we had a few cocktails but your prices are way out of line for what we received. $15.00 to split a entree? All you folks did was cut a 16oz steak in half.... We gave you $167.00 plus tip for a meal that should have cost about $100. Your service and food is very inconsistent!!! My wife and I have been to your place a number of times. That was the last time we will set foot in any of your locations."

  • "Larsen's wine list is above average (we enjoyed the Meomi Pinot Noir, recommended by our waiter). Staff and chefs rise above the limitations of a high volume holiday rush; service was very good with few bobbles, and the food itself is only slightly below Larsen's norm (broccolini was a bit underdone, and the rolls were not as fresh as expected). Both the prime rib and ribeye were cooked exactly to order. I have observed a small drop in quality in Larsen's meats since their opening: not as well aged, and a little gristly. They are still quite good, but no longer give that "OMG!" reaction I had in their opening months. I hope this will be corrected soon."

Even though it was a Friday night as well we expected it to be crazy but our server Lindsay was amazing she kept coming to check on our table, as well as her surrounding area of tables, very polite and sweet.   • "This restaurant has maintained if not gotten better over the years. The food was served piping not, which meant it had not visited the 'infamous' heart lamps that other restaurants use. The service was excellent, rating it with some of the top restaurants in Los Angeles, just enough to make sure you were catered to, but not enough to be annoying. In addition the manager also checked in to make sure everything was perfect, which it was. Good job!!"
