"Food was quite good, as always. I will say that the veal seemed a bit average, which was not the case the last few times there. Halibut was excellent and duck seemed very good, but very salty crust. Overall a good experience, but not quite up to what it usually is, and two of the three of us felt that."

"The food at Larkspur is always exceptional! The service and ambiance is always superb.There is not a large selection of options on the menu, but each is creative and delicious. The oysters were amazing as were their salads. Our main courses were delicious , especially the lobster fradiavlo and their desserts never disappoint. The sommelier comes around to each table to help you select from their extensive wine list."

"Had dinner once and lunch twice. Could not recommend more. Lunches were perfect and you get high quality tasty meals slopeside at the same price point as the fast food served on the mountain. Dinner is a top notch experience. Best dish I had all week in Vail was the melt in your mouth ahi crudo nicoise which was original, gorgeously presented and a stunning mix of flavors. This is a contender for sure for best dining experience in Vail."

"The veal scallopini dinner was outstanding. There was a drink special sign outside for $5 rum punch, so my husband and I ordered that, with my husband saying "We saw the sign outside for the rum punch special". The waiter took our order for the drinks. Then the bus girl said "just so you know, that is just for happy hour". We didn't want to make a fuss, but he really should have told us that when we ordered, as the drinks were very tiny, a bit larger then a juice glass and were $10 each!! Outrageous fir a tiny drink! The bread and butter were excellent. The free range chicken was excellent, and the lobster fra diaolvo (sp?) was great. Prices very high....great food, but overpriced!"
