  • "Our lunch was delicious; howecer there were three of us on two tickets and they brought one order out, forgetting the other ticket!!! twenty minutes later the other order which they "overlooked" arrived. Waiter was pleasant but on another planet. Waiters tuck towels into their back side which is SO unsanitary. Will not return."

  • "Our party of 4 enjoyed drinks, cheese plate appetizer, salads, entrees, desserts and coffee. All courses were attractively presented and extremely tasty - no doggie bags for us! Our server was knowledgeable, easy to reach, without being intrusive. The art work was a draw - the valet parking delay was a drag - but that's the price one pays at a hot spot when there's a party in the park across the street. We are from Fort Worth and like Bird Cafe very much, but would travel to Dallas to visit this bird again."

  • "We were staying downtown for Independence Day weekend and wanted a locally owned restaurant that provided a unique dining experience. I found this jewel on the internet and am thrilled I did. Great artwork that changes monthly, great wines, and perfectly cooked and seasoned food. A casual dining experience and a must try! We already recommended it to other tourists and will definitely come again when we're in town."

  • "This was my first visit to Lark, across the street from Klyde Warren Park, and not to be confused with Savor. I had the Braised Lamb Shank and it was excellent. The service was excellent (Lesley) and knowledgable. Nice wine list and a first-rate bar (Russian Standard is the well vodka). They paced the time and it was an enjoyable dining experience. The decor is inventive and the chalk board art is amazing. Valet parking is available in the adjacent garage which is nice for those foul weather evenings. Their outdoor dining area is adjacent to the service road which is very busy. It was cool enough for outdoor dining but I chose to stay inside."

  • "Great weekday date night location. Easy in and out if you want to catch a show or live music in Clyde Warren park"

  • "nice place for dinner and great atmosphere. Food is good but portions small"

  • "A great setting with the park and chalk art combined with a delightful menu where you can hear the conversation! One of our favorite spots."

  • "The restaurant was nice on the inside and the wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The food, however, was disappointing and not up the hype. Dinner for two was nearly $100 and we did not have any alcohol. The food was bland. I have had better food at nicer chain food restaurants. I will not likely go back."

  • "We tried out the Lark on the Park with my parents and 5-year-old. It was a great restaurant, but a bit pricey in my opinion. The view was great - but 1/2 of the tables faced the back wall and 1/2 faced the window. I would recommend that the restaurant re-orient the tables. The food was good. My Scallops were cold though. The server was friendly - but didn't come around as often as I would have liked as I would have told her my Scallops were cold, and that I needed another glass of wine. There was not a child's menu - but they did offer Grilled Cheese, Hamburgers and fish. Overall - I like this place. Probably more of a date night or girls' night out scene versus family."

  • " This was our third visit to LOTP. WE always have the curry pillows which are divine. But this time we had the celery salad for our middle course and it was splendid. I know, who'da thunk that celery dressed in a vinaigrette and a creamy cheese on the side would've have been a showstopper but it was. Angelica, server extrordinaire, took great care of us as usual. She knows I'm a beer guy so she quickly brought two samples of the recently acquired Saison Brett from Boulevard in the 2013 and 2014 cuvees. I made my selection and had 3 during the course of dinner. I had the Hangar steak with blue corn polenta and my wife had the gnocchi. Both cooked perfectly. We finished off dinner with the Blondie Coupe for dessert which was amazeballs."

  • "Everything we had was delicious! I look forward to going back and trying more on the menu, as well as the fun cocktails!"

  • "If your on a diet this, is the place to be. Portions are very small including the special cocktails. Service was wanting. We were halfway through the meal before the wine was served."

  • "The chalk drawings of Ladybird Johnson, cell meiosis, and Miss Piggy certainly are a clue--this place is unique. The patrons and staff were diverse, hip, and happening. The food was amazing. Unique combinations of flavors and ingredients. Scallops melted in my mouth. Dessert with avocado, mint, pecan wafer---was exquisite. Everything was artistically presented. The service was attentive but subtle. Sits across from a happening park--music, kids in fountains, people with led flashing hula hoops. Not the Dallas I expected--way better! Best restaurant I have been to in several years. Wow. Just wow."

  • "We had a really fun time at the first Bubbles and Burgers, and I'm a vegetarian. Chef Melody made special "burgers" for me and they were yummy. The sparkling wines that were paired with the food were excellent as well. Everyone I spoke with had a really great time. A wonderful way to share a meal with family and friends and to meet people while enjoying tasty food and wine. We will definitely be at the next food and wine paring."

  • "We celebrated our anniversary there and it could not have been a better spot for us. The food was incredible. We had the Pappardelle and the Moo Krob - both were amazing!! The service was perfect...attentive but not too many interruptions. The wine list was great...we had the Easton Old Vine Zin which was recommended to us by the staff and it did not disappoint. We loved the ambiance (clean lines and an almost California feel) and view of Klyde Warren Park. This is now our new favorite place! We can't wait to go back!!"

  • "Took a group here than has never been to Klyde Warren Park or this restaurant. A delightful and successful evening. Enjoyed the cocktails and the food. Server was great at answering questions and steering us toward a selection we would enjoy. Don't usually do dessert, but we shared a couple and they were really good! Would definitely come back to try more of the menu - and the great cocktails!"

  • "This place consistently has great, interesting food. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgable. And if you like martini's - they come out perfect - "skating rink" on top. You either get that or you don't drink martini's!"

  • "The restaurant is not really on the park, but across the street-a bit misleading. After a brief wait (although we had reservations), we were led to a table. My first impression was that this was like a school cafeteria in the arrangement of tables and the noise level. Waiters were queued at the serving station, much like in a school cafeteria. I did like the lovely chalk drawings on the wall. The food was so-so (nothing spectacular) and the waiter inattentive. There will be no return visit."

  • "My family of four recently visited Lark on the Park for a special dinner out. Besides the wonderful quality of the food and the great location and ease of parking, we really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the place. While it could easily become pretentious or stuffy (like some other Dallas up-scale restaurants) Lark has a friendly and welcoming character. Well done!"

  • "I took my husband here for a Father's Day brunch and he absolutely loved it! We had smoked salmon to start and he had the eggs benedict and I had coconut pancakes and we couldn't have been happier with the very well seasoned food, that was served hot and fast. We will definitely be going back again very soon."

  • "I wouldn't recommend gif kids- even my teens had a tough time finding something they liked. Also, hostess wasn't too friendly when she couldn't locate our reservation. I thought it was weird because the restaurant wasn't even busy!i pulled up confirmation on my phone & she didn't even feel it necessary to apologize. Other than that, service was great."

  • "I have been told many times how amazing the food is here so we finally went and I ordered the Texas Hanger Steak dish with the blue corn polenta, The steak was a bit tough, hard to chew into, lacked unique flavor and was too thick. The polenta was excellent. My fiance ordered the lamb with cous cous. It was good, but not overly impressive. The cocktails were great, and so was the view of Dallas/Klyde Warren. Overall, I would say come for apps and cocktails, but save your money and don't spend it on an entree."

  • "Simply scrumptious and delicious! Aesthetically pleasing plates as well as surroundings! Very posh and artistically designed space! Much too loud ( music and restaurant noise ) for a business dinner or to meet a new friend, (both were my reasons for going) but the execution was superb! We felt a bit rushed between courses, so you might want to tell your waiter you are not in a rush if you want a leisurely dinner. Parking is quite cumbersome and valet was not at the top of their game."

  • "Very disappointed in the management of this restaurant. For a place of this caliber I would expect to feel more taken care of as a guest. The food beats Savor but the service does not. I would return to Savor before coming back here 100%. The food is great, though! Real shame!"

  • "The bar and décor of Lark on the Park are promising and the tables seem lively and engaged. Unfortunately, the expectations were quickly disappointed. From inedible lemon vinaigrette caesars to Nightmarish smoke infused and undercooked Coq au vin to a Burnt Black oversalted hanger steak, the kitchen delivered sub par food on a continual basis. Our waiter was completely overwhelmed by the Friday rush and was slow to take orders, unreliable at explaining preparation and neglected to bring bread until asked for a 3rd time. Its likely his failures were exacerbated by the poor quality product that he was delivering, so take that into account. We would clearly return for a drink at the bar but would prefer the bathroom mints to the cuisine."

  • "We tend to come here after DSO concerts because it is open late, and the food is great. It is always good to make reservations, because it can be hard to get in otherwise. If you don't have a reservation, the food service at the bar is just as good as the table service. The chalk art is amazing. "

  • "Since opening, this restaurant has maintained high standards for creative and accessible food. The service is polished and helpful. I especially appreciate being told the cost of items "off the menu". In a business lunch, that's important. A reservation is important, especially in peak periods. This has become one of my favorite business lunch restaurants. It can be noisy at lunch but for me, the energy is just right. Even though outdoor dining is available, I always sit indoors."

  • "esquisitely served in this lovely dining room with view of the stunning blackboard art and bustling Warren Park. Martini with bitters was a perfect beginning, the basil lemon fizz interesting, both great with mussels prepared with mustard curry broth that was unusual and piquant. Clean and crisp salads followed by pork belly and lamb shank entrees gorgeously cooked with layers of flavor. Veggie side of spring peas and other young greens lovely and suitable for two to share. Very helpful consultation with server who had written the wine menu made for delightful pairings, ones neither of us would have thought to choose. Desserts offered free for our birthdays and presented with flare but no scene. Angelique a wonderful server. Perfect light!"
