  • "I had to send the hanger steak back as it came out rare when ordered medium, and was barely chewable. Even though they took it back and "fixed it" to medium, it was still extremely tough when it came back. To the restaurant's credit, they comped my meal without me asking, and worked hard to get it right. Bottom line, don't order the hanger steak. Almost seems like they are putting it on the menu to have a token beef dish. Here's hoping that they change to a tenderloin, filet, etc. Wine was great though, and my wife had the duck which she really enjoyed."

  • "this restaurant has been a favorite of mine since it opened - one of the most appealing in its casual and cool ambience. Food has generally been very good. My most recent experience was a let-down food wise: Marakesh cicken served with a grain that had either been overcooked or left too long in the oven. it just didn't seem to have been prepared with the care and flair i had witnessed in the past."

  • "We can't rate the food. We were told to wait at the bar while they prepared our table. We watched them clear 6 tables and sit one of them while we sat at the bar for over 30 minutes. We were fortunate to discover a much better fine dining place across the street."

  • "I would go to LARK on the Park just to sit in their beautiful interior. I went on 7/19 for Brunch with my husband, we were seated at a table for two by one of their gorgeous windows. It was overall a perfect setting. My husband ordered the Salmon and Bagel and I ordered a Mimosa and Fried Egg Sandwich. I very much enjoyed my meal, the presentation was wonderful, the addition of avocado and beefsteak tomato is a must. The potatoes were good but over salted for my taste. My husband was disappointed. I thought his plate looked great but it just wasn't what he was expecting or what he was used to receiving when ordering "Salmon and bagels" at other restaurants. Overall, I would go again. I love the location and the area."

  • "On our first trip to Dallas our son invited us to this restaurant to celebrate our arrival from Europe. He wanted to give us a taste of downtown Dallas at its best. We were not disappointed. Great service, good atmosphere and excellent food. We'll be back!"

If the restaurant had been packe I would have understood but it was relatively slow so not sure why it took so long. But again want to say how much we loved every course and will definitely do it again!!"

  • "Lark has a great location, fantastic food, and terrific service at fair prices. We did dinner prior to a show at ATT PAC with our 10 yr old daughter. It was so great to have a server who didn't talk down to her. We had steak, lamb shank & scallops as well as the carpaccio, some salads and dessert. Every dish was perfectly prepared, thoughtfully presented and reasonably sized. I LOVE the portion sizes (Not too big - so you can have several courses). Our server was knowledgeable & made excellent suggestions. She was also timely and attentive without hovering. We would highly recommend it for a lovely lunch, special dinner or date."

Waiter was pleasant but on another planet. Waiters tuck towels into their back side which is SO unsanitary. Will not return."

  • "We were staying downtown for Independence Day weekend and wanted a locally owned restaurant that provided a unique dining experience. I found this jewel on the internet and am thrilled I did. Great artwork that changes monthly, great wines, and perfectly cooked and seasoned food. A casual dining experience and a must try! We already recommended it to other tourists and will definitely come again when we're in town."

  • "This was my first visit to Lark, across the street from Klyde Warren Park, and not to be confused with Savor. I had the Braised Lamb Shank and it was excellent. The service was excellent (Lesley) and knowledgable. Nice wine list and a first-rate bar (Russian Standard is the well vodka). They paced the time and it was an enjoyable dining experience. The decor is inventive and the chalk board art is amazing. Valet parking is available in the adjacent garage which is nice for those foul weather evenings. Their outdoor dining area is adjacent to the service road which is very busy. It was cool enough for outdoor dining but I chose to stay inside."

  • " This was our third visit to LOTP. WE always have the curry pillows which are divine. But this time we had the celery salad for our middle course and it was splendid. I know, who'da thunk that celery dressed in a vinaigrette and a creamy cheese on the side would've have been a showstopper but it was. Angelica, server extrordinaire, took great care of us as usual. She knows I'm a beer guy so she quickly brought two samples of the recently acquired Saison Brett from Boulevard in the 2013 and 2014 cuvees. I made my selection and had 3 during the course of dinner. I had the Hangar steak with blue corn polenta and my wife had the gnocchi. Both cooked perfectly. We finished off dinner with the Blondie Coupe for dessert which was amazeballs."

  • "We tried out the Lark on the Park with my parents and 5-year-old. It was a great restaurant, but a bit pricey in my opinion. The view was great - but 1/2 of the tables faced the back wall and 1/2 faced the window. I would recommend that the restaurant re-orient the tables. The food was good. My Scallops were cold though. The server was friendly - but didn't come around as often as I would have liked as I would have told her my Scallops were cold, and that I needed another glass of wine. There was not a child's menu - but they did offer Grilled Cheese, Hamburgers and fish. Overall - I like this place. Probably more of a date night or girls' night out scene versus family."

Dinner for two was nearly $100 and we did not have any alcohol. The food was bland. I have had better food at nicer chain food restaurants. I will not likely go back."

  • "The chalk drawings of Ladybird Johnson, cell meiosis, and Miss Piggy certainly are a clue--this place is unique. The patrons and staff were diverse, hip, and happening. The food was amazing. Unique combinations of flavors and ingredients. Scallops melted in my mouth. Dessert with avocado, mint, pecan wafer---was exquisite. Everything was artistically presented. The service was attentive but subtle. Sits across from a happening park--music, kids in fountains, people with led flashing hula hoops. Not the Dallas I expected--way better! Best restaurant I have been to in several years. Wow. Just wow."

  • "Our party of 4 enjoyed drinks, cheese plate appetizer, salads, entrees, desserts and coffee. All courses were attractively presented and extremely tasty - no doggie bags for us! Our server was knowledgeable, easy to reach, without being intrusive. The art work was a draw - the valet parking delay was a drag - but that's the price one pays at a hot spot when there's a party in the park across the street. We are from Fort Worth and like Bird Cafe very much, but would travel to Dallas to visit this bird again."

  • "We celebrated our anniversary there and it could not have been a better spot for us. The food was incredible. We had the Pappardelle and the Moo Krob - both were amazing!! The service was perfect...attentive but not too many interruptions. The wine list was great...we had the Easton Old Vine Zin which was recommended to us by the staff and it did not disappoint. We loved the ambiance (clean lines and an almost California feel) and view of Klyde Warren Park. This is now our new favorite place! We can't wait to go back!!"

  • "We had a really fun time at the first Bubbles and Burgers, and I'm a vegetarian. Chef Melody made special "burgers" for me and they were yummy. The sparkling wines that were paired with the food were excellent as well. Everyone I spoke with had a really great time. A wonderful way to share a meal with family and friends and to meet people while enjoying tasty food and wine. We will definitely be at the next food and wine paring."

  • "The restaurant is not really on the park, but across the street-a bit misleading. After a brief wait (although we had reservations), we were led to a table. My first impression was that this was like a school cafeteria in the arrangement of tables and the noise level. Waiters were queued at the serving station, much like in a school cafeteria. I did like the lovely chalk drawings on the wall. The food was so-so (nothing spectacular) and the waiter inattentive. There will be no return visit."
