  • "Our server, we believe her name was Alicia, was excellent! Knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, and very welcoming!"

  • "This was our second visit to Lark on the Park. The food, atmosphere and service were excellent. Lark on the Park has a wonderful variety of things to choose from, so you don't get a boring meal. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone at any time! (Valet parking made it easy to get in and get out as this is a busy area.)"

  • "LARK on the Park provided us a great table to share a bottle of wine and a great meal. The wine by the glass list is not very expansive but the cocktails were great and the beer list seemed pretty expansive. We started with curry pillows and those were awesome. For my main course I went with the lamb shank and it was delicious, cooked just right with all the flavors spot on. We will definitely be back for another visit as the menu changes seasonally."

  • "Helpful waitstaff and good customer service. Served undercooked salmon which they tried to fix but the salmon was still raw. To their credit they did not charge for the salmon. Will have to go back to give them a second chance. Great location and views"

  • "We had a wonderful weekday lunch at Lark! I'm a foodie and a recent vegetarian, and my husband is meat and potatoes. Both of us thought our choices were superb. I had a cucumber, avocado, and sprouts sandwich on a delicious whole grain bread that I can't wait to enjoy again. He had what he called one of the best burgers in Dallas. Next time, however, I will ask for something healthier than the sweet potato chips that were plated with my sandwich. You might like their heavily spiced flavor. The restaurant was not too busy. Service was perfect. The location at Klyde Warren Park makes for a nice walk after eating."

  • "Was really excited for this. Great downtown location near the theater with outdoor seating and a great wine list. It ended up being not great. The service was slow (took forever to get a drink), the pork was way too fatty and the pasta dishes tried were scant and bland. They did have a really solid cheese plate, so it may be a good spot for drinks and appetizers. I was shocked by an automatic gratuity of 20% for a table of only 6 though."

  • "This is our third visit to Lark, and we have never been disappointed. We had the lamb burger, which was so flavorful and perfectly done to medium. The accompanying fries were very good although not exceptional. We will definitely return."

  • "It was everything I had heard it was. Fun. Creative menu. And the service was exceptional. Now I'm anxious to try it at night."

  • "The view and location are exceptional. The service however, really has fallen short both times I have dined at this restaurant. The two times we have dined the restaurant has not been busy. Brunch menu is unique and the food great-- but better if served hot if it is a hot entree that is being served. The servers are not knowledgeable about the cocktail menu and for Brunch-- a red sangria was substituted with a rose without inquiring as to whether we wanted to change to it or not. We weren't given a choice. To that end the sangria was TERRIBLE-- we were left for dead in the corner until the server resurfaced. Only revenge is a dish best served cold but Eggs Benedict is not. Dessert was another disappointment. I do not recommend.."

  • "I have tickets to a lot of DMA and theater center events and Lark is my favorite place to get a quick dinner before. The food is really good and the service is very attentive. They get the food out and my ticket cleared in time for me to make it to my event. I love that."

  • "We stopped by on a whim and really enjoyed the food. Waiter was great, space felt "right" and all of the food was spot on. Drink menu was interesting - nice selection of high end mixed drinks along with a good selection of beers, both on tap and bottled."

  • "I have dined at Lark several times. The food was not as good this time, but I will continue to go back. The menu is great and I may have just made a poor choice. It is a great restaurant and the bartenders are amazing."

  • "We had dinner at LARK at the Park on Friday night and was very excited to be there. We had heard so many good things but when we got there it was a different story. Our service was very slow throughout the evening. The mussels and shrimp were the starter and were tasty but then we didn't get our dinner entrees for another 30 minutes or so. Even getting our water glasses filled seemed to be a a very slow process. The lamb shank was good but needed to be seasoned. The coq au vin was a very small portion and the gnochhi was very soft, not what I expected. Overall, our biggest disappointment was with the service."

  • "I was there on a recommendation of a friend for a business lunch. Except for the location, it was not a good choice. The best aspect was the consistently polite, cheerful, and attentive service. I felt the whole experience was a bit pretentious and uncomfortable. The cavernous building created an environment that was too loud, coupled with the incredibly close proximity to tables in all directions, it was very noisy and not conducive to having a professional conversation. For the full prices charged for the lunch menu, I thought the portions were on the small size. The food quality and presentation were middling at best. It took over 20 minutes to retrieve my car from their valet parking, but there were only two people ahead of me."

  • "Lark on the Park promises great things, and delivers. Perched on the edge of Dallas' Klyde Warren Park, its floor-to-ceiling windows capture a vibrant scene with a glittery high-rise background. And the creative "urban" menu lives up to the view. Don't miss the creamy burrata on the antipasto plate, the lamb shank and the Texas hanger steak -- in a cut that looks like a mini-tenderloin but tastes even better."

  • "Great ambiance, excellent scallop dish. The drinks were delicious and pricey. The waiter was inattentive or just too busy (the restaurant was perhaps half full)."

  • "We wanted to try a new place after a long day at Dallas market. The food was wonderful. Between us we ordered the lamb, chicken special and the coq a vin. Everything was delicious. I ordered the beet salad and thought it was very tasty."

  • "After hearing raving reviews of this place, I was very disappointing. The view exists of looking directly at another building across the street, so no view of the park. The drinks were great (martinis and craft beer), but the food so-so. The portions are tiny and the $14.00 salad came without the tasty ingredients described on the menu. After bringing this to the waiters attention, we were offered a complimentary dessert - a scoop of ice cream on a dry - baking powered - flavored brownie. Since were had an appetizer, we split the entree and salad, with an additional cost of $4.00. Very disappointed, to say the least. Will not return, nor recommend to anyone."

  • "different menu- small portions- actually realistic size portions- not huge, and visually appealing. had the Thai pork- melts inyour mouth, but the Thai spice au jous was not too spicey; and the pasta dish had too much butter, but natural pasta. chalk board drawings/art changes evey so often which is a conversation piece. service was excellent- very knowledgeable. dinner for two, with an appetizer and 2 entrees, a $5 beer ontap ( decent selection and a daily rotator ) $72 before tip. valet park free if you get the ticket stamped- just need to tip. fun artsy place- try ti"

  • "My foodie/health nut mom was in town from Connecticut and I took her to Lark on the Park for lunch. We split the Thai Steak Salad and the Avocado Sprout Sandwich. We were in heaven. The salad was light and fresh and the sandwich hit the spot. I ended up asking where they get their bread (Village Baking Co) because it was so delicious. The service was particularly pleasant and the breeze on the patio was delightful. Will definitely be going back."

  • "I haven't been this jazzed about a restaurant in ages! We went to LARK for my husband's birthday and he had a wonderful time. The restaurant is hip & trendy without the pretention of many restaurants in the area. The chalk murals on the walls are amazing and a wonderful venue for local artists to have their talent seen. Our waiter fun, welcoming and very knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely be 'frequent flyers' of LARK."

  • "We loved the feel of the place and the service was very good other than when our waiter got hung up for 15 minutes taking an order from a family of five. Certainly not his fault. The cheese board with dried fruit was very good. The wine and beer selection was fun. The only down side was the main course. I had coq au vin and it was sub par. It was basically grilled dark meat chicken that had been baked tender. To pair a wine with it, asked the waiter if it was cooked with Pinot Noir, and he said he thought burgundy. There was no evidence of red wine and no dept of flavor. I certainly would not order it again."

  • "I have eaten at Lark 7 times and have always enjoyed the food, particularly the cheese plate. The only times I have had decent service, however, is when I sat at the bar. It is not just a matter of getting food too late (e.g. when the fries have gone cold), it is not being able to get attention. It can take way too long to get your water glass refilled or to order another drink. Also, the attitude of some of the servers is bordering hostility—no smiles and a sense almost as if they are doing you a favor to wait on you. This time, the server was so negative that even my dinner guests commented on it."

  • "Menu is dependably varied and well prepared, drinks are great, service attentive without being overbearing, crowd is diverse and active, and the street scene outside adds to the overall positive energy. We have had consistently positive experiences here on many occasions."

  • "Great downtown spot. Fun atmosphere, super food, what more could you ask for. A real gem."

  • "Inventive cuisine and a wonderful array of international beers on draft made this a terrific dinner. The waiter recommended the scallops and the Moo Krob (Thai Pork), both of which were delicious, as was the cheese plate. I had asked for a quiet table for our business dinner for 5, and as it was a slow Sunday night they gave us a separate room. Service was a little slow considering it was a Sunday and the place was not crowded, but it gave us extra time with our clients. I would return in a heartbeat."

  • "The food, service, decor and location are awesome. The music is so loud, though, that a table of four could not have a conversation."

  • "Stunning location overlooking Dallas' new Warren Kelcy Park with a super view of the park activity and the Dallas skyline. So great to see people having fun in downtown Dallas. Beautiful space and very good food. Interesting and diverse menu, and would probably be good even for picky kids, though I haven't tried that. Wonderful selection of beers on tap. Very nice addition to the Dallas scene."

  • "Oh Lark, what a surprise you were. I had read about it over and over, my friends were talking about it, but I never had the chance to get there till last weekend. Wow! I love imagination and trust me, they had it. I took a very important client and his wife and we were all just blown away. The cocktail list was brilliant (They DO need Amethyst Lavender Gin) We ordered 3 appetizers that just was dead on including a cheese on the Charcuterie plate that we had no idea what it was, but we ate it so fast that we all actually laughed about it. The Entrees were just amazing. I had an Asian influenced Haddock that was swimming in a sauce so succulent that I wanted to lift the plate to my mouth and drink the broth (I didn't!)!"

  • "virtually every menu item needed explanation in some way. It was like they were trying too hard to be so artsy that understanding the entree was nearly impossible. our server was a bit condescending. having said all that, the food was fantastic."

  • "Believe it or not, I had what was probably a wonderful pork chop. If I dint have to saw at it with a regular table knife it probably would have been better, but alas, I didn't have one. The beet salad was pretty good and texturally interesting, but it was missing something. That's how I would sum it up. Almost really good. Just missing a little something."
