It cost $6.75 and we were served only 8 very thin spears. Seemed overly pricy for so little a serving.
Other than that, the food was excellent. Two of us had a fish (can't remember which fish), but the taste and presentation was wonderful.
We also shared tuna tartar which was great too as an appetizer.
Service was excellent as well. Almost didn't notice the serving staff at all - felt very private in an obviously open place. But this time, we were celebrating my hubby's birthday dinner. I had the Lobster Spaghetti while he ordered Steak! We were Surfing and Turfing separately. We also ordered their Ceasar Salad and the dressing was amazing! I also recommend their organic teas to cap the night. I had the Organic Assam Black Indian Tea. Very flavorful!
We even got a complimentary birthday dessert. Awesome!
We love the food, the unpretentious ambiance and excellent service! The birthday boy agreed. Am so happy!
Lark Creek Blue is one of my fave dining spots at Santana Row. I love their carrot cake, the keeper appetizers is good! One of my favorite is their Ceasar Salad! Very simple and the dressing is perfect. The Ahi Tuna Steak is the bomb! It melts in your mouth.

Good lunch specials with adjustments made to the menu to accommodate diet restrictions. It was yummy! The food we ordered was the ahi tuna steak, stealhead fish and the 12 oz new york strip. I really enjoyed the ahi tuna steak dinner. The steak was good, but nothing special really set it aside from other steakhouses. I wasn't able to try to Stealhead fish. Our server was great. When we were seated, we waited awhile (over 20 minutes) until someone came over to greet us and provide us with menus. However, once we met our server, he was worth the wait. We were seated immediately, and our waiter provided very good service the whole evening. Since it was our first time, our waiter gave us many good recommendations on the menu. We had the Dungeness crab cake appetizer, the Maine lobster spaghetti and the petrale sole with sauteed spinach and shoestring potatoes. Everything was prepared well and delicious. We finished with a tasty apple/pear crisp. The atmosphere was energetic at 7pm on a Friday night, but we did not feel rushed. Between the menu choices and adult diners (lots of couples), it wouldn't be somewhere I'd take my 7 year old. But, that was the point of date night...3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding Food and ServiceOur experience at Lark Creek Blue, Santana Row, formally Yankee Pier was very excellent, which is more than excellent. Out table was ready when we arrived and we had prompt wait service. The seafood dish was amazing, and the flatiron steak was cooked to perfection. Our guests thought the prime rib was very tender with great flavor. The special cocktails were interesting and refreshing and the bottle of Morgan Pinot Noir was delicious.
With all of the good food and drink the service was the star. Our server that evening was Ken and he was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Our food came to all of us at the same moment and the chef came to our table as well. On a busy Saturday evening we couldn't have asked for more. It's still a Bradley Ogden restaurant, but they've expanded the menu to incorporate a variety of steaks. They carried over much of the original seafood items, including the fresh oyster bar, New England clams, and the option to pan-fry your selected fish with healthy sides. And yes, they still offer the butterscotch pudding for dessert.
If you liked Yankee Pier, you'll like Lark Creek Blue... and if you wanted red meat, they've now got you covered as well. Took about 10 minutes to take the order.
ONce we got our food however....all was forgotton. They also picked up the tab for our drinks...nice gesture. My wife had the shrimp and crab salad and she loved it. great presentation....and lots of fresh crab and shrimp. I had the roast beef sandwich with fries. Great! Fries were fantastic, great bbq sauce on the sandwich!

We loved the service, the decor and we believe this place has promise.2/20/2013 12:00:00 AMI made a reservation hereI made a reservation here for Valentine's Day and was surprised to be accommodated with the best seats in the house. The staff did a wonderful job of setting things up the way I had asked. We were sat in the only booth in the restaurant with cushy seats and a beautiful chandelier.
The service was very attentive to the point that they did interrupt the atmosphere on occasion.
