Lario's on the BeachLove this place!We love Larios on the Beach, however were not aware that they had moved into the lobby of the Cardozo Hotel on Mother's Day (temporarily while their restaurant at 820 Ocean Drive is being renovated). The ambiance was not as great as the original restaurant, however they transferred their staff over so the chefs were still the same. Food was delicious as usual!! I had the Ropa Viejo, wonderful, along with delicious chicken soup. Fried plantains great & tasted like a dessert. The black bean rice is excellent. Good prices and great staff! It was my husband's birthday and they gave him a wonderful piece of cake with a sparkler in it and sang "Happy Birthday" to him. Quite a wonderful experience. Our experience was perfect from beginning to end. We started at the bar with a great bartender and great drinks. We were seated where we requested and had a wonderful dinner. This being our first time for Cuban food we relied on our waiter for suggestions and be was spot on. The location on Ocean was perfect for people watching!
