  • "The service was so very good. I felt completely at ease and enjoyed my meal as it was pretty good too. There were not very many people in the restaurant I imagine because it was summertime and the middle of the week. I stayed at the resort due to a special on the room from Smart Shopper channel 15 ABC in Phoenix. A nice little "staycation" in the middle of the week was very pleasant."

  • "Went on Sat. for the prime rib special. 6:30 and no rare prime rib. Picked from other items. Ribeye and sea bass. Sea bass had little or no flavor, ribeye was so so. Both were over priced. Mussels were very good. Service very good"

  • "We went early, since we had a 1 hour drive home afterwards and did not want to fight traffic. There was only one other table occupied so it was very quiet. Our waiter was a very personable young man and he turned out to be very good also. We went for the AZ Restaurant Week menu. I started with the lobster bisque and my wife had a salad. The salad was very good and quite large. The bisque was about a 7, I had a much better one at Wildfish 2 days previous. We had to ask for bread, it was hot from the oven when it came, but it was nothing special. I had the sea scallops and my wife had the double cut pork chop. The scallops were excellent as was the pork chop. We took a good portion of the pork chop home with us, it was quite large."

  • "Had not heard of this restaurant until I saw it on the restaurant week list. Decided to give it a try. What a great find. Delicious food with pretty large portions. Wonderful views off the patio. The dining room is well appointed and has a lot of charm. The service was impeccable and all wait staff (Branko, Chelsea & another server whose name we unfortunately did not catch) we encountered were pleasant, engaging and personable. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go back. It also sounds like they have some awesome Thursday and Saturday specials too."

  • "This was our first visit. A family member had been there for lunch and had enjoyed the experience. We were welcomed at the entrance and as it wasn't busy were given a wide choice of tables. The menu was good as was the wine list. We enjoyed a caprese salad. I selected a pasta dish while my wife went for the fish. Our portions were very large and my wife only finished half the meal, but it was great. I was disapointed in my dish as it had no real direction, contained peas, sun dried tomatoes and shrimp. The shrimp was great. The tomato might as well been left out, as the over whelming taste was that of split pea soup? The wine saved the night for me. The staff were excellent and we will give it another try."

The menu was price fixed due to the special occasion so selection was limited but we had a well prepared 5 course meal and a fine bottle of wine to celebrate the new year. Took a long time to get our food, when we asked for mayo, it never came. Also took a long time to get our check.   • "We were 3 & highchair for breakfast at 9:15 am.The hotel was hosting a convention of veteran groups.The lobby area was packed with people & tables.Although restaurant did not appear to be busy. Greeting was awkward, but we were seated. We waited for about 15 minutes for someone to take our order. Our order arrived in what I would say was a fairly reasonable time. The food was fairly good, but not great.The best over all was the nut crusted french toast (over deluxe omelet or eggs benedict.) I think there is potential for greatness at the restaurant, but they need some help in organizing & properly training service staff. Consistent & well trained service would help to pull in repeat customers. We may go back, but it will be a while."

The bartender and waiter couldn't figure out a simple drink I ordered (and added different ingredients). They brought sparkling water but no glasses. After 45 minutes I finally asked for bread. They had no small forks for seafood.Then a manager in training antagonistically strolled past my table saying she knew me ( implying I was a trouble maker). I never saw her before.The MOD just made it worse.The food quality wasn't worth the ineptitude or the anxiety. If you expect service...be warned !"
