Diner Reviews
  • "I received TWO reminders about my reservation on the day AFTER we had already eaten there. Our reservation was for April 15th at 5:30pm and we they had it on their books. Then I received the reminders on the 16th -- TWICE!"

  • "The very good: The food was outstanding. The service was timely, friendly and outstanding. We wanted to try this place for a few years now. The bad: The servings was too small. The price was way too high. I had to eat two full bowls of bread to be full. For the same price, my wife & I could gone to the Fish Market for the same price, nearly the same quality (yes, I admit they are better than Camy's old gig but not that much more!). It is simply overpriced for the amount of food served. We joked when we left pizza truck knew park right outside because their customers would still be hungry. We also joked that their motto should be "In our restaurant, we won't fill you up and we will leave you a little lighter (in the wallet).""

  • "One of the best restaurants in Columbus, Ohio. We were celebrating our 10th year wedding anniversary and we had a very romantic dinner. The preparation of the dishes is simply excellent and the taste is even better! The foie gras melts in your mouth (definitely the best in Columbus). We also had the sweetbread and they were delicious. We both had the duck for the main course and again it was delicious. The service was excellent. We just love L'Antibes."

  • "This was our first time dining at L'Antibe's. I had heard so many good things about the food and atmosphere of the restaurant but had never visited. Why it took us so long to go is beyond me !! I now have a special-occasion-go-to spot !! It was outstanding. Each course was better than the previous one. How it could get any better is beyond me !! I can't wait to return !!"

  • "We celebrated my husband's birthday with dinner at L'Antibes. Each course was perfect in both taste and presentation. We ate crab cake and pork belly appetizers, avocado salad, entrees of salmon and beef tournedos, followed by desserts of mascarpone crepe and lemon curd parfait."

  • "The food was fantastic--I can't recommend it enough."

  • "Great food. Nice atmosphere. Waiter was very helpful and available, but too loud and constantly holding on to patrons chairs while talking boisterously, just not quite "professional" for such a wonderful place."

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our crab cake and fois gras with apple compote appetizers. The pork loin was cooked to perfection and the lobster risotto was delicious! The wine list gives one many good options and the choice of dessert and or after dinner aperitif completes the meal. Always enjoy the ambiance where you can actually hear the other people at your table!"

  • "We celebrated an anniversary and it was splendid. The atmosphere was perfect for four and the food fabulous. Had a wonderful night out. Parking is limited but the valet service was great and had our cars right out in front at the end of our meal."

  • "We have been here numerous times and have never had a bad experience. The food is consistently fantastic and the server is well educated on articulating the chefs process. Great price point for the dining experience."

  • "I took some friends who were visiting from California to L'Antibes because it was highly rated and I had not yet been there. Our water was condescending and pretentious. The food was OK, but certainly not spectacular. I will not return and would not recommend."

  • "Delightful dining experience. I highly recommend this small and special restaurant. Everything I ate exceeded expectations. Attentive service."

  • "L'Antibes is a wonderful, French-inspired, comfortable restaurant. Service was impeccable. It's a quiet, understated restaurant, so if you are looking for high energy, this isn't the place for you. However, the food was wondeful! Every dish was delicious, cooked perfectly, proper temperature, and combined wonderful flavors. We particularly enjoyed the cauliflower soup, avocado salad, short ribs, duck, and crème brulee. Highly recommend! We took our 10-year-old daughter and she loved it as well, but then she's quite the adventurous eater!"

  • "The torchon of fois gras with pistachio nuts was melt in your mouth. We also enjoyed the hollandaise sauce with lobster on the tournedos. And the truffle oil gnocchi with fresh fish! It is such a pleasure to eat where you can speak quietly with your company and still be heard."

  • "This was a repeat visit from years past and this visit did not disappoint. This is a quaint restaurant with wonderful food choices and a decent wine list. I enjoyed the crab cakes as well as the scallops. I'm always happen to see half bottles of wine as an option. I will return again."

  • "I had never been to L'Antibes, but a friend years ago told me it was THE restaurant in Columbus. The food was mediocre, at best, and the ambiance was a little dreary and not very modern. I think a lot can be updated, especially since it's such a small space. The food wasn't very elegant as the menu had indicated and though my friend and I had different dishes (pork and fish), the sauce, which as very salty, was identical in appearance and taste! We didn't even bother with the sleepy dessert selection. So much potential if there was an imaginative chef, updated decor and a cool bar."

  • "We went to L'Antibes for a special date night and it was fabulous. I get so bored with most restaurant menus but this was interestingly crafted and very well executed. The atmosphere was refined but at the same time quite personal. Service was outstanding too. A truly great evening spot."

  • "We've been here several times and this was our worst experience. Always good service, very good food, available parking. Not so this time. A real disappointment!"

  • "Expected more, literally. The food was good, but not exceptional, especially for the price and the small portions. For example, the salad of mesclun, apple and parmesan: how much can that be upgraded to warrant $ 13?? Columbus has a number of restaurants that serve food every bit as well-done as this, but at a more reasonable price. The service was very good, but we went primarily for the food, and the best service in the world can not compensate for the higher cost of unexceptional food."

  • "My son and I have dined at every notable fine dining spot in Columbus and L'antibes wins. Absolutely the best quality of food. I had scallops, my son the petite filet, escargot, salad, sorbet and even the coffee was impressive."

  • "We were celebrating our daughter's 21st birthday - gorgeous night, so we elected to eat on the patio. Enjoyed appetizers from the patio menu - lamb sliders & cod fritters. disappointed in the entrees as well as service which lacked the finese expected at this level of restaurant."

  • "Hard to find, off the beaten path tucked in the corner, not busy, portions small, food over priced but all in all food was Excellent and service was very attentive. I am gluten free and could not eat the fresh bread so I found myself still hungry when I left."
