  • "Awful service! Food just ok. Ap was good. Drinks good but waited for over an hour for second round."

  • "We were pleased with our food. Howere the Ahi tuna was a bit over cooked, but still delicious! Another suggestion would be to lower the price of the house wine, or fill the glass more. $9.00 for barley any house wine. Overall the experience was good. The sushi was fresh and tasty."

  • "We loved this restaurant, the food was very different and delicious. The service was superb! Can't wait to go back!"

  • "We had a great experience; food was good, service was good- waitress was very friendly and helpful. Only downside, we had to wait a long time for our dessert. The dessert was a tropical fruit pudding which needed to be heated up in oven, but by the time it was served, it was cold. The dessert was very tasteful and would have been the perfect ending to a wonderful night, if arrived on time and was warm."

  • "Have been here a couple of times before and was very happy. This time, however, the food was not very good(very dry) and the waitstaff was not very attentive. The prices are very high. Probably will not return."

  • "Great summertime lunch watching the ocean, and the strikers on the boardwalk."

  • "the food was very interesting and tasty. salads arelarge and good. sushi is also good. gluten free soy sauce is available along with the chefbeing able to modify entrees to be gluten free. bathroom was filthy - so that may be a good indication of the whole restaurant. directlyon the asberry park boardwalk so eat outside or with a view."

  • "Very interesting menu. It is loud but the food is very good and the menu is very interesting. There was a great jazz band on the night we were their. We'll definitely go back."

  • "The venue was all that I hoped it would be. Clean, comfortable and hospitable. Great place to host a summer jazz series. Will definitely return with friends."

  • "I cannot share with you all how awful the service, food and attitude was at Langosta this past weekend. I have frequented this restaurant ALOT over the years. It took us 45 minutes to get our first drink. The waiter was unattentive and could have cared less. Even when it came to get bread for the table, he told us that they were running low.The curry lobster was undercooked and tasteless. The other three meals came out over a span of ten minutes which meant that some of us were sitting with no food or cold food waiting. The service of the food took an hour to receive. THIS PLACE, WHICH USE TO BE WONDERFUL, BETTER GET THINGS TOGETHER BEFORE ALL OF ASBURY STOPS FREQUENTING THEM......NO EXCUSE FOR SUCH BAD SERVICE, FOOD OR ATTUITUDE!"

  • "I've been here multiple time and it has progressive gotten worse and worse. I've already left my full detailed review on yelp. But to make a long story short just avoid this place"
    Dined on 6/15/2014
  • "This place was what we exactly what we were looking for. A place on the boardwalk with decent food, a varied menu and pretty good service. They were accommodating with letting us sit outside even though we had reserved a table inside. Also, on a request where we asked for the kids drinks to come with the meal (a detail most waitresses forget), the waitress remembered. So the service was great."

  • "Luckily, I took the 9:15 available reservation, because people were being told there was a two hour wait. Food was good, great variety of starters (loved the fried Greek olives), but had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated."

  • "Had a great dinner at Langosta, but I would have to agree with other reviews I've read on various sites that say the service is not the best. My waitress was very nice, it just seemed to take forever for the food to come out. It didn't ruin my dinner though because I wasn't in a rush. If you have at least an hour and a half, I would definitely recommend Langosta Lounge."

  • "Everything was excellent. Can't say more than that. Check it out, you will not be disappointed."

  • "This was my first time at Langosta since Sandy. While I applaud them for re opening, I would not go back. Food was below average, restaurant was extremely loud and service was okay. I believe the fact that they expanded the restaurant hurts their quality."

  • "But it's on the boardwalk in Asbury Park, which is an OK view. My husband and I had a date night here for a 6pm dinner in the late Spring, so it's plenty bright out. The food was just OK. I ordered the "porkchop with white peach reduction" entree. It lacked the little punch that you'd expect with something sweet. There was little acidity in the dish, so it just didn't balance out. Not sure if I'd go here again. Atmosphere was chill, so maybe just for a drink because the Market Mojito (made with strawberries) was good."

  • "Been here several times. It is a great culinary experience but be prepared to wait (a very long time). Otherwise it's a great scene. "

  • "We expected a more upscale room by the name It was very laid back and we were overdressed A cross between tiki bar and pub but the food was great and we did not know what to order first It turned out to be the best meal of the weekend"

  • "We knew that brunch would be crazy so we had a 4 person 6:30 pm reservation for "sunset" dinner. The restaurant was not crowded, and the waiter was nice enough although a little cocky. Two of us ordered the "pork" belly specials, which he highly recommended, later to be told they sold out - in addition to selling out the Calamari (really?). We replaced the specials with the "roasted chicken" special, which when it came out was a leg/thigh in a soupy type of sauce - very unappealing. The meals did not come out at the same time - took about 5 mins in total for 4 meals. We waited for the waiter to return - to order something else instead of the chicken, but he never checked on us until we were done. we told him chicken entree was bad."

  • "We went on Mothers Day with a prix fixed menu. We watched every table sit down and get their food except for us. My children grew incessantly impatient which my husband and I soon followed suit. Our server was clearly upset and was on top of trying to apologize and gave me a drink on the house. But it was more than an hour before our food came out and when it did it was wrong not once but twice. Our server felt horrible and did remove the children's meals from the bill but at that point we were just highly disappointed. Heard such great things but not sure we will be back anytime soon. "

  • "The last few times I've been to Langosta I thought the food quality lacking. It seems the restaurant is trying too hard to be trendy and inventive without being real tasty like in its beginnings. You can only live on your reputation for so long. The view saves them but I've been disappointed lately. Its not awful, it's just not terribly good."

  • "My mom and I went for brunch on Sunday. the weather was amazing and the hostess sat us right away. The waitress took forever to come over to us and would disapear every time we were looking for her. the food was very different but very good! The baked avocado app was awesome. The bloody mary's were good as well. I would recommend this place!"

  • "While the sushi was great, the entrees left no impression. The blackened fish was not blackened at all and very bland, the garlic steak was extremely chewy and tasteless. Go for drinks and appetizers/sushi, skip the rest and you won't be disappointed."

  • "We were 6 with OpenTable reservation at 8pm and had to wait for 45 minutes as the place was packed. The owner blamed a group of people who had gotten there late for an earlier sit. We got free deserts though. "

  • "I've dined here multiple times and generally make a reservation. I always end up sitting at the table at least 30 minutes after my reservation time because the restaurant is always busy. This time we arrived 15 min early for our reservation and sat down after waiting 35 minutes past our reservation time. Our waitress came back a few min after taking our drink order asking if we were ready to order. The first three things we ordered, they were out of. The waitress should have told us once we ordered drinks that they were out of things on the menu. Very frustrating and annoying. The service has been only fair every time I've been there. I always want to give it another chance because the food is generally good."

  • "Made a reservation on opentable for 7pm. Had to wait until 7:45 anyway for a table. Why did I even use opentable? We got the short ribs and the duck entrée both of which were just ok. Not a lot of flavor at all. Service was slow. I could only image how much worse it would be during summertime. Will not be back."

  • "Langosta is an excellent restaurant in Asbury Park, and the food is consistently good. It definetly has a hipster vibe. The only negative I would say is that on a Saturday service can be a little iffy as we waited a very long time between appetizers and our meal."

  • "We always love going to Langosta. The menu is so creative and always has something new. Don't expect to order anything bland or boring"
    Dined on 4/11/2014
  • "Really enjoyed dinner at Langosta. The menu is varied, good ingredients, fresh and healthy. Very good service, knowledgeable and friendly. The only problem is the noise level. Conversation can be a real challenge. Not a great place to catch up with old friends or the events of the day."
    Dined on 4/5/2014
  • "The menu is eclectic, unique, and diverse. Cuisine from different cultures and regions. it's a fun, tasty, trendy meal. It's an anchor of the Asbury Park scene. It's on the boardwalk across from The Stone Pony. Most tables have an ocean view."

  • "Langosta Lounge has been a dining staple for me for years. The menu is creative and consistently good. The service is always friendly, well informed and responsive. On this trip I had the goat cheese and vegetable pizza. It was outstanding. Consistency is hard to find in the restaurant world. Consistent greatness is even more difficult to find. Langosta always delivers for me."

  • "Although we were seated on time the service was terrible. Our drinks came in a timely fashion but that was it. We ordered a calamari appetizer that took 40 minutes to arrive. It was greasy and an unusally small portion. There was no bread on the table. They brought the salad with the entree one hour and ten minutes after we sat down. We wanted cappuccino for desert and was told they had none. All this took 2 hours. We would have had 2 more drinks but with no bread and a 45 minute wait for the appetizer, we thought better of it. We were there about one year ago. They served a nice bread and dinner was served in a timely way. The salad came first and dinner wasnt rushed. we were very disapointed"

  • "Met friends for brunch and we had a marvelous time at langosta lounge. The food was excellent and you can never go wrong with carafes of bloody marys and mimosas! The whole place had a wonderful laid back feel and I would definitely recommend it - can't wait to go back!!"

  • "Super-convenient for a pre-Stony Pony dinner -- right across the street. Was seated right away and a waiter took our drink order within a few minutes. Eclectic menu: we had lobster fried rice (great, with big hunks of lobster), pot roast (very lean and moist), and pho (slightly bland but they provide lots of accoutrements so you can season to your own taste). So many other interesting-looking dishes. Will definitely go back to try them. Attentive service, nice wine list (for glasses and bottles). The tables are kind of close together and it's bit loud for dinner but not intolerable, and more than fine if you're looking for a fun night out."

  • "Seated at 9:45 after we were 20 minutes late (we called an hour in advance to let them know). They had a nice but loud mariachi band. The food took forever (past the point of the manager apologizing, but nothing beyond a few conciliatory words) and the waitress seemed hard to get, but it was Valentine's day so they get a partial pass on that. Hers was quite good; my steak was a bit on the fatty side but not bad."
