Langermann's Restaurant Group defines Low-Country cooking. Our Fresh Kitchen combines comfort food with a special twist. Shrimp and Grits are a favorite. We are a friendly neighborhood place with the hint of a drawl - all crafted a little slower to accentuate the rich tastes and simple elegance. It may not be the South but it is definitely our very own delicious little slice. Enjoy our cuisine by the fireplace, on the patio or terrace in the warmer months. Come join us for supper with friends, happy hour, or special dinner party. We offer a scrumptious Brunch Buffet on Sundays!Continued

  • "My wife and I have enjoyed several happy hours with friends in the bar at Langermann's; this was our first time in the dining room. A large space - it's quite a transition from the old Have A Nice Day cafe - linen napkins and table cloths. The food was good - not foodie good, but tasty and fresh. My wife had the very good lobster bisque and a salad, and I had the ribeye. Very fatty, but the meat was well cooked and delicious. We had a nice little two top, and had a pretty quiet, romantic Saturday evening meal. HOWEVER - Langermann's is just the right amount of fussy - casual enough for grandparents, parents, and tykes to share a good meal, but formal enough that everyone is on good behavior and the ambiance is nice and relaxed."

  • "The food here is delicious and the price is proportionate to the portion size, which is refreshing these days. A reliable choice, Langermann's has become part of our regular rotation."

  • "Restaurant was not my style but always want to try new things and keep an open mind. I am a vegetarian and the only veggie entree dish was pasta. I'm not a huge pasta fan so it always seems that pasta is the easy way out. My company who is not a vegetarian enjoyed the food and thought it was really good. Service was great. I would recommend to others but we will not go again. We enjoyed trying the restaurant and we always want to try different places and this one just wasn't one that we will return to."

  • "Langermann's in Canton is a favorite, but we don't get there often enough. I took my daughter and a friend and we had a great meal, as we always do. Langermann's shrimp and grits is the best in town...even better than another more famous (and much pricier) downtown restaurant."

  • "We had a party of three, we ate the Sea bass! Hanger Steak, and the pork Chop. All very tasty, except the pork chop was over cooked."

  • "The Charleston Shrimp & Grits were heavenly and the fried green tomatoes were fantastic. Also really enjoyed the pimento."

  • "My friend and I both had the salmon salad with goat cheese. Both salads were delicious with a nice size piece of poached salmon, fresh assorted mixed greens and cubes of yellow beets with just the right amount of goat cheese and dressing. Lovely!"

  • "A great place for true Celiac...that is GF by necessity not choice, although good for the latter as well. Wait staff knowledgeable and the food is great."

  • "Langermann's Sunday Brunch is a real treat and the cost is extremely reasonable. The food is delicious and the buffet bar that comes with each brunch entry is spectacular. Laid back vibe, perfect for a Sunday morning. Service is attentive and genuine. Our server Ezra was always there at the exact right time. Have gone to Langermann's for several birthday/special occasion brunches and it's been a hit everytime. Planning another trip soon."

  • "Langermann's is a friendly and lively place to dine. My husband enjoyed his Breakfast Blitz with home fries and said that his over-easy eggs were cooked to perfection. I had the Charleston eggs Benedict with fried green tomatoes and a side of hash browns. The flavors of the sauce and green tomatoes complemented the egg and muffin to perfection. I plan on visiting again and exploring other menu options. Kudos to Langermann's!"

  • "We had another marvelous dinner at Langermann's! The food and service were superb! The shrimp and grits are outstanding, and so are the wings at happy hour. We are so happy to have this restaurant gem in our neighborhood!"

  • "Overall good experience,but... Lobster bisque was the soup of the day ; the soup was not palatable. I send it back to the kitchen and was not charged for it. For entre I had the hanger steak and risotto - very good. My friend had the shrimp as an apetizer, which he enjoyed , but he had the ribeye steak and it was not cooked as requested."

  • "We went their due to a online suggestion I found and were pleasantly surprised. I am a meat snob and order a steak and I have to say it is hands down one of the best cut and best cooked steak for that price that I have ever had. I highly suggested it if you want a good meal that isn't going to break the bank."

  • "I absolutely love this restaurant. It is my favorite restaurant in Baltimore. The braised short rib was so tender that it literally fell apart when you touched it. And the scallops were perfectly cooked and perfectly delicious. If you want fresh, local and delicious food at a great price Langermanns is the place for you."

  • "I had the ribeye and it was on par with much more expensive restaurants. The cornbread was good, and the Mac and cheese that I substituted for my mashed potatoes was delightfully rich and cheesy."

  • "My food was good. But there were some hiccups in the evening, one of the people in our group needs to have a gluten-free diet, in fact we only chose Langermann's because online they offered a gluten-free menu. When we got to the restaurant we were told that there wasn't a gluten-free menu. After checking in I was promptly seated, however as I will taking off my coat (a matter of moments after the hostess walked away) the rest of the party arrived, gave my name, and they were told that there was no reservation and that they had come to the wrong location. If I hadn't seen the party walk in myself, staff would have been sending them on a wild goose chase instead of looking at the names that they had just seated."

  • "Sunday brunch was pretty good. You choose from a list of several entrees as your main course and as you wait for your food, you have access to the "side item buffet" which has fruit, salad, bacon, sausage, grits, biscuits, and gravy. I ordered the Corned Beef Hash for my entree ands was very pleased with it. All food was good, ambience was trendy, and staff was nice. I will try the Saturday jazz brunch next time"

  • "The jazz brunch at Langermann's was true treat. The blueberry pancakes were light, sweet, full of (real!) berries and had a hint of cinnamon. my husband's steak salad was a triumph of meaty goodness! Not overdressed and just enough bleu cheese to give it a kick. We will make this place one of our regular haunts."

  • "Took friends to dinner. It was Restaurant week so expected it would be busy and was worried service might not be good. The evening was great. We arrived on time with our table waiting for us. Selections for restaurant week were great. Everything was delicious from appetizer to dessert. Drinks, wine and service complemented the perfect meal. We highly recommend this restaurant."

  • "Date night with my husband is ALWAYS started with good food! When we were discussing where to go, my husband suggested Langermanns because he knows I LOVE their wedge salad and the shrimp and grits. Once again, they were stellar! Only continued disappointment is the lack of a really good chocolate dessert. We're going to New Orleans in April, and I'm looking forward to trying shrimp and grits there to see if it compares to Langermanns!"

  • "We live approximately 30 miles from Baltimore and don't normally dine in the city. We thought Restaurant Week would be a good opportunity to try something out of our neighborhood. Langermann's was pleasant, the food was good, and the service was outstanding. With the tall warehouse / industrial ceilings, noise is going to be an issue. We sat at a table near the entrance door. Every time the outside door and inside door were open at the same time, there was a rush of cold air - that was not so enjoyable. Although, it was a pleasant experience (minus the cold air), it was not so remarkable that we would go again; in particular, with the associated drive. We will try restaurant week again next year, just a different restaurant."

  • "Enjoyed my experience at Langerman's. Used to ride along to pick up cans at the Can Co. in the early 70's and really like how they kept the integrity of the building when revitalizing the neighborhood. Highly recommend the food/menu as I visit Savannah / Charlestown regularly and you menu reflects their charm and flavors."

  • "This was my first choice for Valentine's Dinner this year, having been here many times over the course of 2013. We were seated promptly for our reservation in a nice table by the fire, and our entire meal was delicious from start to finish (although I think my boyfriend would have appreciated a larger piece of chicken with his skillet chicken selection). My first choice of the Creole chicken was sold out, so I went with the old reliable shrimp and grits, which are buttery and delicious. Fried asparagus started us off and is a good sharing/snacking plate for two people. Service was prompt, we were in and out in just about an hour. Great experience as always, we will definitely be back."

  • "Our evening was a genuinely excellent experience. Our waiter was charming, knowledgeable, and efficient. The dining area was open and contemporary, yet elegant. The wine list was extensive. The food was gourmet down-home Southern cuisine. There was something for everyone and all was excellent. I am not a "seared seafood" eater, but I was coaxed to try the seared tuna. It was probably one of the best seafood dishes I have ever eaten. Being too full for dessert, we ordered one bread pudding with homemade caramel swirl ice cream. When our waiter brought us 3 spoons, we chuckled, thinking one bite for each! It was a party in the mouth with generous portions to keep our senses satisfied and ended the wonderful evening on a yummy note."

  • "I had the Tuna Crab Tartar, Charleston Shrimp and Grits, and Bread Pudding; my wife had Lobster Bisque, Braised Beef Short Rib (requested to be served over grits rather than mashed potatoes which they were happy to accommodate), and mixed berry crisp desert. We switched appetizers mid way through so we got to experience both. Everything was very good and the prices were in line with its $$ rating. This was one of the very best meals we have had recently, especially for the price. We will be returning soon!"

  • "Having been voted top Shrimp & Grits in Baltimore...I had to try them....and they were wonderful as were the fried green tomatoes. My fellow diners had the scallop & shrimp pasta special and lobster bisque...and they rated their food excellent. Drinks were cold and good. Prices were very reasonable. Our server was very attentive and professional. Highly recommend this restaurant!!"

  • "Food is "low country" and very good. The scallops and grits appetizer was very good but small portion. I had a pasta dish with shrimps and scallops in a lobster based sauce, very good. My wife had the short ribs which was also good. Would recommend"

  • "What a great improvement from our last visit. The "low country" (Southern shoreline - like Charleston,SC and of course New Orleans) style cooking was just terrific - reminiscent of the great foods in both cities. The atmosphere is really neat (wood, open ceiling/ductwork, but really nice with a separated bar). Dave, our waiter, was just the absolute best. Great recommendations, very attentive without overbearing, and just all around enjoyable/fun. Great dinner!!!!!!!"

  • "we ordered two appetizers and a main. all were delicious, and the portions generous. when we return, I will be torn between the scallops and the spareribs. only (minor) ding is that the waitress was a little slow. definitely try the nonalcoholic clove & berry cooler--it's unique & tastes great."
