There was a live jazz trio, which was so nice...and the food was excellent. We got two plates to split, and the food was delicious and really nicely proportioned. Our waitress was great, and there was a three piece jazz ensemble playing! We read the reviews and this seemed like a great option. We were truly wowed by the food, the service (including valet parking in an area of Baltimore that is often hard to locate parking), and the friendliness of all the staff. Food and drink arrived promptly and unobtrusively. Fried green tomatoes - awesome! Grits were great - with shrimp and sausage - as were the fried chicken and the steak medallions. The food is now quite good and the servers are efficient and friendly. The bar can be noisy on a Friday or Saturday night (and we happened to be there as Maryland was beating Duke, so no fault of Langermann's!), but it isnt obtrusive. Nice wines and a full bar.
