  • "The Easter Brunch was very good with a large variety of selections. The dinning room offered a very nice view of the Water Way. They handled our group of 11 people including 4 kids very well. I would like to return again for the Sunday Brunch."

  • "We have gone to the Easter brunch at Landry's for the past several years. In the past it has always been a highlight. Not this year. Poor variety on the buffet, i.e., no omelet station, less soup, fewer salads and limited entries. Our table was a taxi ride away from the buffet it was so far across the restaurant. Oh, and it was over priced."

  • "Was dissappointed that we were not able to sit at one table, there were 18 of us but I saw there were several large tables there, I did add some to our group that last week but the original reservation would not have fit at one round table either. Service was not good at all, never did get a glass of water, you would expect better service when you have that many in your party, we should have had our own wait staff person. At the Houstonian we even got our own room, food was excellent tho will just make sure next year we do get better service. All in all it was a nice experience for our family we enjoyed being together no matter where we are."

  • "Upon arrival we were greeted by manager and staff and immediately seated. Our waitress always had a smile and was very attentive. Several managers came to check on us and the food as wonderful!! We had a table "reserved" in a wonderful spot overlooking the water - exceeded our expectations. I would recommend using Open Table to anyone...! Congrats to all for making our family feel welcome! Thank you!"

  • "Food was good except for the crab fingers. They had a good flavor but it looked like we got the bottom of the bowl. Lot of sauce but not much crab fingers, They need to do fried and they need to bring back the catfish. A sea food place is not unless they have catfish."

  • "I've dined here before, but this time was different and not in a good way. I ordered soft shell crab and it looked great, but it was very salty. Then I found a long black hair in the veggie side dish. I brought both issues to waiters attention. Sorry was all he said. I won't be back is what I thought."

  • "My wife had the broiled seafood platter and I had the fried version. Both were excellent but MUCH too much food presented. Drinks were pretty good, but it is clear that Landry's is conserving on the alcohol content. When I ordered a Drambui for desert, I got about a half a shot. Not acceptable. Be reasonably generous on the booze as that is where you make your most profit. Cheap restaurants don't get repeats. Jim in The Woodlands"

  • "The food is great, but if there's any issues they will resolve it quickly. One word of caution, on our most recent visit they had a new starter item. It was crab fingers marinated in some type of dressing. The menu describes them as 'plump' and the picture shows them to be of decent size. We love crab fingers so we ordered it. Disappointingly, they were anything but 'plump'. However, there were a lot of them, so that wasn't bad. The rest of the meal was excellent."

  • "Food as always was great, brunch omelet was made as ordered and the new cajum specials were awesome! Service a bit sub par, slow on drink refills, table not preset as should be. Hostess was abrupt and harried, but not really busy- so I chalk it up to a mid level chains turn over and staffing. But the food was good, so we will be back."

  • "I had the fish and chips, not freshly prepared and were more like fish sticks, they were dry and flavourless to boot. The plates was heaped with onion strings, plantain chips and fries, again flavorless. My husband had the fried seafood platter, he said it was OK. Hadn't been to Landry's for about 5 years and won't be rushing back, it's not the premier seafood house it's advertised to be."

  • "Good place to have dinner. The food is always good and consistent. One thing my husband is upset about is that they had Seabass on the menu and now you have to order it special. The salads are good as well. The only thing I was not happy about is that they changed our waiter 2 times so I think our order took longer than expected because of this."

  • "There are many choices one can make when it comes to dining in this town. However, when it comes to seafood, you can not find a better place than this Landry's. Upon arrival our table was ready and we were promptly seated. The food is fresh and served promptly. The quality is exceptional. The staff is outstanding, helpful and friendly. They actually make you feel that you are welcomed there rather than treating you as an inconvenience."

  • "It started out with a 430pm reservation. The hostess was prompt to seat us but that was where the service ended. We waited 15 minutes at our table until a waitress passing by asked if we had been helped. She took our drink order and said that she would pass it on to our waiter. 30 minutes into the dinner our waitress finally appeared to confirm our drink order and took our food and app order. Ten minutes later the manager came to check on us and we said we still were waiting on drinks at the 50 minutes so we finally just went to the bar to get the drinks on our own. While inside I found a lady from the table next to us complaining to a manager about OUR lack of service lol. Meal gets a 70 and they still gave us a full bill. NEVER AGAIN"

  • "It was valentines day so we expected it to be somewhat hectic. But we were seated 45 minutes after our reservation time which was unacceptable. We waited in the bar until then and my wife and I got our drinks 10 minutes apart when we ordered at the same time. Once we were seated, our table was only set for one person and we repeatedly had to ask for the basics such as bread and silverware. The food was average as my fish was overcooked. I have eaten at other Landry's and enjoyed it, this one not so much."

  • "We did reserve a table the day before so the desired time slot was already taken. Because we had to take a 4:30 time we were immediately seated. Server was slow to come over and the drinks, and food were also very slow to deliver. Food was good. Noticed other tables also had slow service even with different servers. Must be the kitchen is understaffed. This was disappointing since it's Valentine's Day and they should've had plenty of time to plan for this special occasion."

  • "When we arrived at 7:00 for our 7:15 reservation, the lobby was packed. The hostest signed us in, but 7:35, we had still not been seated, despite numerous people being taken ahead of us, who had arrived after. When I made the reservation, almost a month in advance, I had specifically requested a table by a window, as the restaurant is located on the water. When we finally were seated, at 7;40, we had a table directly next to the kitchen door, far away from anything that could be considered a view. Our waiter came by almost immediately for our drink orders, but after his initial greeting, we saw him too infrequently to be of real service. Despite all this, I must say that the food was excellent, which made up for almost everything else."

  • "Valentine's Day was totally ruined by the awful service given by the Landry's staff. Had to wait long time to get bread, tea was never reserved, could not get the waiter's attention, food was cold when served, all customers seemed irate at the horrible service and the manager refused to come out to take care of the complaints. At the end, several customers were given a key-lime pie on the house for their patience in dealing with the beyond bad service."

  • "As a well known but chain-restuarant I expected a certain level of service that I was shocked to find lacking at this location. When I arrived for my 8pm reservation I was told that the restaurant was "behind in their reservations" and by 8:40 we were finally seated. (How does one get behind in their reservations, if it isn't because of poor planning.) The waiter who was managing the section we were seated in seemed to disappear which helped in making the dinner a long a drawn-out affair. We asked for lemons and it took him 15 mins to return with the wedges. We had the salmon, the burger, and a ribeye steak. The food was decent but not exceptional and at nearly the same priced of high end restaurants in the area."

  • "Service was great, No wait time.Our server was great as well But the food was not that great. I guess I was expecting more for the price. I ordered the stuff flounder. It had a plain taste like no seasoning was used. Also there were a lot of small bones in the meat. I ate here before but a few years ago and I find the food quality has gone down. I prefer their other restaurant Babins. I don't think I will be back."
