Diner Reviews
  • "Ordered "stuffed flounder" and was very thin/small portion of flounder for the price."

  • "Could use a bigger variety of food. A bit pricey. Surprised not having scampi!"

  • "First time here, was very pleased with food and service. Had the calamari app and it was cooked with little grease, and very tasty. Had the salad with house dressing, was exceptional. Rivals Lawry's. I had the grilled/blackened snapper and it was a perfectly cooked white fish, seasoned just right. Had a side of snow crab, and it was a little overcooked but very good anyway. Wife had the shrimp and grits, was not a usual southern preparation, but in a creole sauce. Was spicy and good, just be aware its not the usual meal."

  • "I had eaten at this location in 1997, still great food, lots of room, great menu. I enjoyed the "grits and creole sauce and shrimp" and my wife ordered the Crayfish "Mac and Cheese" … meals were good and tasty, nice flavors. The highlight was the appetizer …steamed clams…man o man where they tasty tasty and fresh! Tasted like they were just flown in from Prince Edward Island Canada! Stop in, eat and enjoy!"

  • "Many restaurants seem to rush you out the door for sake of business. This seems to be more commonplace in the restaurants we have visited in the recent past and it can be very irritating. Thumbs up Laundry's!!! I would love to visit again and sample more menu items, but I have to say that I was disappointed in the cuisine that we ordered. It tasted good, but it left you seeking for more. I am not a huge fan of fried foods, but when I do wish to enjoy them, I would like the food to be more flavorful. Not to criticize much, but the bland dishes were a let down to a point. I guess one can sum it up this way: We spend most of our time eating to live, but when I go to a restaurant and order certain items, I live to eat."

  • "Ribeye way too small and priced up. It was as though they determined based on what I ate before the appetizer, salad and chowder (which was excellent...but I would say lose the Lettuce wedge which is not creative) I could only then eat a very small ribeye and it was very small. I took the ribeye home after eating only two little bites of the steak and had it the next day and determined that it was tender and a little too fatty. Need a larger piece of bread. The fisherman platter was good according to my brother however the stuffing in crab was gummy."

  • "Kind of an off beat locaction but worth the drive to get there. I have been to their sister restaraunt Oceanaire in San Diego and they are both similar in decor, food and service which is A+. I will definetly be returning."

  • "Took client for dinner and had a nice dining experience. The waittress did a great job, but the food was not good. No flavor with their house special appetizers, nor the main dish. The house salad was the only good thing."

  • "Was looking forward to a special occasion dinner with fresh seafood and lobster. No bread, water, at the tables until we asked for water (for both of us). No halibut or sea bass. I ended up with a fried fish. Lobster was small, had to ask for extra lemon- still no bread. Had to ask the hostesses for water, again..... Other servers seemed to be better than ours and we did advise the front. Also, went to get a drink at the bar and was ignored until I just left. Very disappointed. Won't go back. Will go back to Palms or Mandalay for any special occasions."

  • "Went there for Valentines Day Dinner with my Husband. We got right in at the time of our reservation. Once seated it took a long time for our drink order. It seemed that our waiters were not organized. We ordered soup and they brought only one and said they would bring the other and it took about 15 more minutes for that to come. The salad and dinner also took a long time to come. I would give it one more try because maybe the service was off because of Valentines Day."

  • "disappointed with my experience at Landry's ordered the surf and turf with the steak medium well it came back rare that just blew it for me."

  • "The hostess, manager, and waitress all went out of their way to make sure we were properly taken care of, even though it was one of their busiest nights of the year. This level of attention is typical of their great service. Thank you all for a great evening!"

  • "This is a very good restaurant and our table of four enjoyed it. This was a holiday night and busier than usual. My party was patient because we understood that. In the end, the service, although very friendly and accommodating, came up short. It seemed that our wait staff had too many tables to cover and we had to ask multiple times for basic things...like a straw. Some food also came out cold. Overall, the good effort was there and we would go again."

  • "Seafood portions were generous and priced accordingly. The seafood was typical nothing out of the ordinary, it was fresh and tasty. Place is bright and a little noisy, not too romantic but would go again with family. The bar area is nice for a quick drink and appetizer ."

  • "My wife and I have been to Landry's about twice a year for the past 5 years. We were there Friday evening for a Valentine dinner and were disappointed. I always order the crab cakes because of the large ratio of crab to filler. This time there was much more filler to crab. When I mentioned it to the waiter he stated that the "kitchen was in a rush." When I mentioned it to the manager he stated that he "would talk to the kitchen." Additionally the crab cakes came with asperagus which I do not like so I asked for a baked potato in stead since the asperagus side was more than twice the price of a baked potato. Without being told by the waiter I was charged $2.99 for the potato!! Live and learn."

  • "The food was excellent as expected and the server was very nice. Tables are a little too close but the noise level is low enough where you can have great conversations."

  • "Service was slow to the point food was cold by the time it was served. Crab cakes and crab imperial was all breading with a hint of crab meat. Definitely not a Maryland crab cake. When bread was requested, it was brought to the table when we were almost finished so cold and too hard to eat. Server was nice but seemed to be stretched a little thin with a number of tables."

  • "We took first time visitors to Las Vegas for dinner. we were quite embarrassed. My husband and I ordered the stuffed shrimp. What we received was a mound of breading with a shrimp hidden below. We paid extra for dirty rice which was dirty leftover rice. Sorry to say we will not be returning."

  • "Hostess extremely nice and thoughtful. Food was good, but did not like the Ceasar's salad dressing."

  • "Your manager (forgot his name) was great. We waited to be greeted after being seated for about 10 minutes, and I was wanting a cocktail after a long day at the Furniture Market. Your manager came over, took our drink order, sent over our server and watched over us the entire evening. Because of the early confusion we were billed incorrectly for one drink order (I ordered a single but received and was billed for a double) which the manager corrected and was also given a complementary desert for the delay of being greeted at the table. The food was solid and a very good value!"

  • "Alaskan king crab legs were huge and all you can eat on tues and thurs nights. Didn't even need the drawn butter. They will even split them for you if you ask nicely. Ask for Cayla to be your server. She was wonderful."

  • "Not as good as the originals in Texas, food tastes bland. Love and will still eat at landrys but not away from home"

  • "Food was average. Waiter appeared to be on something and was rather annoying. Bill was confusing and managers explanation was disturbing. He said they don't track their inventory. This place ain't worth the money."

  • "My groups of friends and I had a wonderful time at Landry's on New Year's Eve. The food was really good, and, Rosa, our waitress, went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome. Rosa is our favorite person!"

  • "We've come here a couple of times and the menu selection is pretty impressive. We love the lobster bisque. It's not inexpensive but definitely more reasonable than a strip restaurant with good quality food and friendly service."

  • "Enjoyed our lunch at Landry's, they took great care of us. Food was outstanding, great broiled seafood platter, catch of the day was delish, and the stuff shrimp was a hit too!"

  • "My 10 yr old, my husband & I, and my parents stopped in for dinner and all found something delicious from the menu. My only compliant is that it was very dark -- we used our cell phone flashlights to read the menu."

  • "I would never go back to this restaurant. I am not judging all Landry's on this experience as most are exceptional. However, the level of service in any restaurant in Las Vegas is questionable. This was no different. The waiter did not know his bar selections, was slow and not attentive to our needs. The section we were in was 20 degrees cooler than the rest of the building. We asked numerous times to turn the AC off. It was 45 degrees outside, we ate in jackets. Service was slow and waiter did not know his bar selection. When the bill came I used my $25 coupon. Then the bill returned $90 higher. When asked why, the explanation was that items were "forgotten". I wanted to forget to pay the bill AND the experience!"

  • "We went there for the all you can eat King Crab Legs and we were not disappointed! We definitely had our fill of Crab. The service was outstanding. If you have a chance to get there for the King Crab Leg special you will not be disappointed. You also get a salad and a baked potato with your meal too."

  • "We had the AYCE crab special. It was delicious. The waitress just kept bringing legs to the table. We had to tell her that we had had enough. Usually, in an AYCE situation, one rarely sees the serving staff after the first portion. Not here. Very attentive and extra good food."
