The food was prepared with fresh ingredients and presented nicely. Great value too. After our meal, we visited The Library Bar and the entertainment was wonderful. Our experience at both could not have been any more wonderful if I had been the owner of the Melrose Hotel. The waitstaff in both places was perfect, the wine and ambience in the Library was as I remembered it from many years past. Of course, the food was excellent. Any delicious food you could think of, beautifuly displayed and plentiful. They even had PB&J for the kids. I felt so loved an adored by my family for such a special treat.

Some dishes were a little hit or miss (too much salt in the onion soup for instance), but overall it was very good. Lovely wine.
