Diner Reviews
  • "My wife and I headed to L'Andana for our anniversary. The first impression is how easy it was to get to (we live North of Boston). A valet met our car and we headed into a beautifully decorated restaurant with just the right amount of light. I had mentioned on OpenTable that this was our anniversary and the staff did take notice -- we were greeted with "Happy Anniversary" and they sat us at the best seat in the house. The food was excellent -- easily on par with the top steakhouses (Grill 23, Mooo, etc.) in Boston without the hassle of driving into the city. The service was top notch as well. We highly recommend this place!"

  • "They have amazing food and great service. We eat there at least once a month. Filet is one of the best entrees but really everything is delicious. Only good things to say. Must try it!"

  • "Overall we had a nice experience with another couple. The ambiance and service were very good as was most of the food. Unfortunately, the swordfish was very overcooked and therefore, very dry. I was not impressed with the fonduta appetizer that was recommended by our server. It was very large and exceptionally rich....fortunately my husband and I shared it. The wine list was on the pricey side. Not sure I'd choose it again with all the options in the region."

  • "The steak was oversalted. The crab tortolini was bland. The lobster pasta was way overpriced for what you got. This is a $50 to $75 place without alcohol. A good place for showing off."

  • "My wife and I recently went to L'Andana for her birthday. We have now been there four times, and have had great meals every time. Our waiter was very helpful and pleasant, explaining each dish to us, and even honestly answering my questions as I tried to decide between two cuts of beef. In the end, I was very happy with my Porterhouse steak, so am glad he helped me choose it. My wife had the Tuscan steak which she enjoyed very much. I had informed the restaurant via OpenTable that it was my wife's birthday, so when she ordered dessert, it came out with "Happy Birthday" written beautifully in chocolate on her plate. We will definitely return."

  • "fresh modern Italian food, nicely prepared, in comfortable setting with attentive servers. solid choice in Lexington/Burlington area. "

  • "Fantastic food, great wait staff, attractive and very comfortable inside. My only complaint would be, the portions are a little small for the price you pay."

  • "From the greeting to the desert L'Andana was terrific. I had been told by friends that dine out alot that L'Andana was good. I took my wife out for a special dinner and found it to be better than described. The food, the service and the atmosphere were top notch."

  • "We've been to L'Andana twice, and both times have been great. From the salad to dessert, the food is excellent. The steak was tender and cooked to perfection. Make sure you save room for dessert, because the two we've had were well worth it. The wine and cocktails were very good as well. The service was outstanding. You can't go wrong with L'Andana."

  • "I took my 24 year old son here for his birthday...a bit risky as he is a beer and burger guy. And my experience with L'andana has been inconsistent. But we both agreed, this dinner was awesome. The service really made the experience special and the food was very good. My son had a filet which he claimed was the best he ever at. I had cod which was nicely prepared. Interesting cocktails, fresh salads. It was a nice night. The only detraction from me is the noise level. Although the layout of the roomis interesting, people are really packed in tight."

  • "Had a great time on Friday night with 6 friends. Was appropriate noise level to talk, dinner was good but my salmon was a little dry. Otherwise service was spot on. Will go back"

  • "L'Andana is our favorite, "we do not want to go to Cambridge or Boston but we want a great meal and fine service place". that really says it all. Live north and or n weest of Boston, want a fine palce but do not want the hassle of going into town? Just go to L'Andana. an excellent menu each item well cooked and presented and accompanied with good wine and excellent service. Ok the space is a converted golf warehouse, but well done. What more can I say."

  • "The staff makes you feel special right when you walk in the door. And was very accommodating: we asked to be moved to another table after we ordered and the transfer was seemless. Our dinner was very delicious and the right size, we did not feel overwhelmed with food. And they added a special birthday wish (written in chocolate) to my dessert."

  • "The food is great, the service is professional and we never feel rushed or neglected. The tables are well spaced so we can enjoy our conversations without being bothered by our neighbors. It can get loud as the night is progressing but overall a great experience."

  • "This was my first time dining at L'Andana. We waited for Dine Out/ restaurant week as the regular a la carte menu is a bit on the higher cost end. However! we did not even order off the Prix Fixe Dine Out menu (it looked great - but we decided to splurge) ~ we ordered from the regular menu~ and the cost was well worth it. The wait staff was exceptional -very attentive and kind. The decor is chic and relaxed. The food was absolutely delicious. We got everything from pasta, to fish to filet...all were happy with their choices. Desserts were split - and though we were full - we enjoyed them as well! This is a treat ~ but I will definitely be back and recommend the restaurant whole heartedly."

  • "Every time we've visited this restaurant it's been a wonderful experience. The food is always excellently prepared. The service is first class - very professional waiters. And the atmosphere is elegant. On our most recent visit we got to partake in the special "Dining out" menu which was very good (many items from their regular menu) and a bargain."

  • "I have been to L'Andana's a number of times, personally, and have also sent many Executives to L'Andana's as well. The food is excellent, presentation is very good. Deserts....well, delicious and different. Staff is professional and attentive. All that you would except in a high profile restaurant."

  • "We have been wanting to try and took the opportunity during restaurant week. Food was high quality and tasty. Temperatures of food, coffee, and dessert were luke warm at best. Had to ask for server twice. Server was not engaging and added nothing to the experience. Finally, the cost for the overall value was disproportionate. There are better local restaurants that can easily compete on portion size, service, quality (temperature), and cost."

  • "From the valet parking to the great wine list this place makes me feel like back in NYC! It's a great spot for a romantic dinner out ... Catching up with some old friends.... Or even a girls night out.... Gives you a reason to put some pretty clothes on and get treated like a queen... Highly recommend!"

  • "Enormous restaurant - what you would expect in the suburbs. The fish and broccoli rabe we ordered were very good, but the pasta with lobster was quite disappointing. The pasta was quite undercooked and the lobster more rubbery than it ever should have been. I really wanted to love this place but an Italian place should have pasta mastered."

  • "We went on a Saturday night to celebrate two birthdays. The restaurant was packed. Our reservations we on time. We were early and had a drink at the bar. Great wine selection offered on the menu. Our table was in a nice location. The menu had a wide selection of entree choices and many steak options. All the food items ordered were well times and our service was excellent. It's a wonderful suburban restaurant, yet the bill that you receive is equal to Boston prices, maybe without the parking fees. I highly recommend trying this restaurant and look forward to going back again."

  • "Went for DineBoston. First, i will say that L'Andana's has been a longtime favorite of ours. This time, not so much - and my 'Yes' on the recommendation is somewhat lukewarm as a result. A little surprised that the 3-tier pricing wasn't embraced. Not that we go here for a 'bargain' but, @ $38 for the 3 course, I felt that was excessive. The dinner was 'ok', not up to the restaurant's usual standards I feel. The cod, in particular, was average and small in portion (exacerbated by the price). Service was a step down, but not necessarily the fault of the server; the timing was off - be it the kitchen or perhaps the server. The timing of the courses was way off; app too quickly, main course showed after a long wait, dessert similar."

  • "I enjoyed my meal, but was not overwhelmed by any means with the quality or portion. I thought a tad bit overpriced for the food delivered. The best part of the meal was the dessert. Service was timely and well done. I am not sure I would return, as the quality didn't "wow"."
