Diner Reviews
  • "Absolutely beautiful restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. One of the most notable, was the scenic view we had. Will. recommend this restaurant to my friends and family."

  • "So happy to dine outside again. The crab cakes are really wonderful, but I've honestly never had anything here that wasn't good. I highly recommend."

  • "What a great find! I've heard that the restaurant itself (inside AND outside) is great, but didn't know about the wonderful wine cellar with tapas. You could get any bar drinks you like but they had some amazing wines! Our waiter Ben was simply awesome, sweet and knowledgeable. We didn't eat much but the homemade chocolate sampler was to die for...espec. with the red wine!"

  • "We were seated at 7:45 for a 7pm reservation. The kitchen was so slow they halted seating. Food was very late, every course. Dessert took so long we cancelled it. Server was our saving grace, however we won't be back"

  • "We enjoyed the outdoor bar area for drinks however our party of 6 was seated for dinner in a conference room on the 3rd floor away from other diners and the main rooms of the historic train station. We did not see much of the charming restaurant (or view) that we heard so much about. The menu is varied and most enjoyed their meals, especially the steaks. Those that tried something different, from the specials menu, were a little disappointed. The service was very good, the waiter was very responsive and friendly."

  • "We are frequent patrons at Lambertville Station, and I've never been disappointed. The food is always delicious and attractively served, with enough new items available to make every visit interesting. The pleasant and attentive waitstaff make the overall experience totally enjoyable."

  • "The restaurant is very friendly and inviting. The staff from the time you walk in the door through your departure are excellent. Completely enjoyed our luncheon."

  • "The food was very good but the service was awful. Our waitress was slow and didn't even ask if we wanted desert. Just came over and gave us the check after we sat there for 20 minutes after our food was removed. Needless to say, at this point we were turned off and didn't even ask her for the dessert menu. It was clearly stated under notes on our opentable reservation that this was an anniversary dinner so she should have at least tried to make it somewhat special. Later we realized she gave us the wrong check and we paid for someone else's meal."

  • "Great menu with something for everyone. Moderately priced but worth it. Great atmosphere although a little loud at times."

  • "The food was very good, the friendly server even better, in a nice atmosphere on an early Saturday evening. I would definitely recommend the location."

  • "We went to Lambertville Station for a birthday brunch. The location is great, the space, big and bright, and airy, service solid, menu is big and varied, and quality was good. Why not great? My entrée--a lobster roll--had so little lobster and so much lettuce and tomatoes that I was still hungry after the meal. The desserts were stellar, including the signature oreo truffle bomb, and drinks were also excellent. Good place for a group meal, though note that it's at a relatively high cost for what you get."

  • "We enjoyed a wonderful duck pot pie for lunch over the weekend - portion size was appropriate, although not hearty. Wait service was exceptional, with Anthony as our waiter - menu suggestions were appreciated, and hot food was delivered quickly. Drink replenishment was almost automatic, with no need to request refills. We thought the prices were high for the quality and quantity of food served, but for an occasional drop-in-for-something-special meal, we thoroughly enjoyed it."

  • "Our server, Richie, was very attentive informative and accommodating. He especially made the night a pleasant one. I quiet table for two by the window afforded us a beautiful view of the river."

  • "This has become my go-to restaurant for lunch with a couple of friends/colleagues--not just for its mutually convenient location but because it's always a treat to lunch here. My most recent visit was no exception: we were welcomed warmly and professionally, and the diverse menu and specials gave us, as usual, plenty of options for our leisurely and delicious lunch--it's one of those places where I look at the menu and find numerous choices that would make me happy, and I'm always pleased with what I order. Service always seems to be professional, competent, and attentive; our waitress for this visit was particularly sweet, informative, and personable, which made for an especially enjoyable lunch!"

  • "We went for restaurant week. Food was pretty good. I liked my crabcake and french onion soup. My DH did not like his whitefish soup, but really liked his seafood crepe. Regular prices are a little high. The bar is really nice with a lower level with comfortable seating and a fireplace. They were also advertising alot of Bar Specials that included Burgers and a Sushi night."

  • "From the wine flights and cheese tasting downstairs to the filet mignon and creme brûlée upstairs, everything was perfect! Lambertville Station is one of my favorites: great wine, food, service. You can't miss with anything on the menu."

  • "We went for restaurant week and were pleasantly surprised by the choices and quality. Second floor dining room is very nice, I've only ever eaten on the first floor. Give it a try if you have not been, it's a great location and has an awesome outdoor bar/dining area in the warm weather...Rachael was a terrific server."

  • "Our visit to The Lambertsville Inn was a wonderful experience. John , our waiter, was extremely knowledgable about the menu. He was able to recommend a very good wine that was the best I had all weekend! I would highly suggest this restaurant ."

  • "We had a great time in the Wine Cellar. Great wine selection, although I wish the whites were a little better. Very comfortable atmosphere and seating, small groups scattered around the room. Great selection of food in larger than usual amounts. The waiter was friendly and efficient. It's a great spot to relax with small bites."

  • "We have been going to Lambertville Station for years and it has consistently been a good dining experience. Their signature coconut bread is delicious. The calamari was done perfectly and not tough. The dinner choices were very tasty. The service was attentive but not intruding. I would recommend this restaurant."

  • "Both Wild Boar & Elk were over- done....Mark,our waiter (very good BTW ) offered a dessert to make up for it, we declined, but were appreciative of the offer. Appetizers, Escargot & Beet salad were excellent. We will be back and would recommend it."

  • "We recently visited Lambertville, NJ and were guests at The Inn at Lambertville Station and dined at the restaurant. We had been there before and expected a good experience, but were still surprised at how great it is! The whole town is quaint and historic without being over the top and the restaurant is just beautiful. The staff from hostesses to wait staff to chefs are all friendly, personable and accomodating. The menu is quite extensive as is the wine list. This is truly a great place to dine for a special occasion especially if you'd enjoy something different. We've been here 5 times and always make it a must whenever we're in town."
