"The valentines day price fied menu bosted 5 courses for $95 per couple. However, we got a 3 course meal with notible missing ingredeints fromt he menu. The ceviche style shrimp cocktail was served with a traditional red cocktail sause, not ceviche, the spinach salad with grilled chicken had no grilled chicken, but did have friend ravioli that tasted like cardboard. The dessert course was supposed to be chockolate covered strawberries and cheesecake, but the cheesecake never came. The wait staff seemed to be confused by our questions about the menu and missing courses and ingedients. I would not waste my money on this place."

"Combining good jazz and a great meal, nothing better! The Lakeside Bistro offers the perfect blend for a wonderful evening with good friends. The charming neon lite dinng experience offered old Hollywood pictures and a blend of foreign fragrances as meals wipped past your table. Aroma and presentation enticed your senses as each temping dish was delivered. The staff was friendly and attentive, very personable and offered excellent service. Don't judge a book by the cover, don't be turned off by the area...go eat you will love it!"

"My wife Pam and I found Lakeside Bistro on one of Trish Hatleys emails and as we live in Anacortes, thought it might be too far to go for dinner - but we are glad we did. What a wonderful experience we had. Quaint little place, great food and drinks and the staff was just great too. We enjoyed the entire evening and stayed over night in a local hotel. We will see you again, that's for sure.

"This was a very popular location for a weekend brunch. The brunch was advertised for $5. What wasn't told to us until after we had gone through the line once, was that it was $5 for one trip through the line and $7 for unlimited trips. We'll know for next time. The food was very good. There was a variety of meats, scrambled eggs, Eggs Benedict, pastries, and fruits. Beverages were extra. When I booked the reservation, I mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday. We made no comments about it while we were there. After our meal, three of the staff brought a large slice of chocolate pie to the table, with plates for all of us. They lit a candle and sang "Happy Birthday" to my husband. We enjoyed our dining experience very much"
