  • "First we we sat down in a room that was dirty from the party they had before us. They did not clean it at all the whole time. We go to have the brunch buffet ($21) and it doesn't have much to choose from at all only 4 hot dishes and one was the eggs. Their mini rolls and bagels were hard as rocks. And on top of that some of the rolls, bagels, desserts and shrimp didn't have serving spoons. People picked it up with their hands. Who knows how many touch your food. None of my food had any taste. It all needed seasonings. U could tell a lot of the food came from frozen. The turkey was good but the server was making fun of it. Calling it a dry football. Only thing I would recommend is their desserts. What ever box they came out of."

  • "Our first visit to Logo this past Friday night was much more than we had expected. Friiends told us that it was a very good new restaurant but we found it to be a lot more than just a very good restaurant. I had a shell fish over liguini platter, and my wife had a large arugla salad complete with goat cheese, hazelnuts, prosciutto, and excellent tuffle vinaigrette. The food was excellent! But there is more. That night the temperature was in the low 70's and we were lucky enough to get a table on the patio overlooking Farrington Lake. Prior to sitting at our table we sat at their very nice little Tiki bar. Wow! What a great evening we had in North Brunswick."

  • "Apparently we were there on a night when the owner or manager was celebrating his birthday. There was a DJ playing bad music. We were seated next to their table. Smelling the hookah wasn't too bad although when they started smoking cigarettes, it was a bit much for our dining experience. Our waitress did a good job at moving us promptly and indicated she had several similar complaints that day. Food was average. May have enjoyed more if ambiance different. No paying customers seemed happy that night. Menu OK yet didn't match online. The outside bar looked like it could be fun on a different night. I might try again for the bar area. Being outside on the water is a nice find. I wouldn't go back for the menu."

  • "Went on a weeknight for an outdoor dinner on the patio with a friend. Had not been since the change over from Sir John's to Lago. The patio is a beautiful location. We had wine and a variety of appetizers. Everything was fine, not great, just fine. Walking through a rather cavernous empty dining room to get to the patio feels like there is no atmosphere. It's such a beautiful location, but the atmosphere and food need to be stepped up a notch to attract more people and make it feel less empty and more inviting. Not sure what ambiance they are going for, but right now it is modern wedding reception, not everyday great restaurant. If you go to Lago and you definitely should give it a shot......insist on the patio."

  • "The food was quite good. Our waiter was good, too. There was a banquet and we waited an hour and 45 minutes for our dinner. The waiter kept us informed and was apologetic. If the kitchen cannot handle a banquet and a dining room at the same time, then perhaps they should redefine what kind of service they have to offer. We will try it once more, but if we have to wait again then that will be the last time we go there. And since the food is good, that would be a shame."

  • "We were very disappointed to find the menu on your website was completely different from the menu we received at your restaurant. I was so looking forward to the lobster tail and king crab legs. The waitress asked if we were on the correct website? How many websites do you have? If you click below on Open Table and see menus, maps and more you'll understand what I'm talking about. I recommend you change your link because it's false adverstisement. We were very unhappy and unfortunately will not be going back."

  • "Refused to sit at a table for 2 across from a couple with 2 babies, with plenty of tables for four available. Going back to hostess desk was called an a-hole by babies' mother. Finally got seated at table for four. Room was very noisy-need to do something about acoustics. Food was good, but small portions and had to order desert in order to compensate. Overall a disappointment. "

  • "I have been to this restaurant several times since it has changed owners. While I will admit the first 2 times the service was shaky that has changed. Everytime the food has been great. This past experience was great from beginning to end. They have made many positive changes to the menu. I can't wait to go back."

  • "We went for dinner several weeks ago to see the new Lago. We were very much disappointed. The service was good and the food presentation was good, however the sauce on the hanger stake was way too salty. The steak itself was tender but we could hardly eat it. In addition, the overhead Jazz music was way too loud for a room that was almost empty. The music was disturbing. Also towards the end of our meal the music in the 'sports bar' was turned up and was competing with the jazz from the dinning room. The total sound level was uncomfortable. Overall a very disappointing evening."

  • "Food was mediocre, noise level was very loud since they had two catered parties taking place with disc jockey music. Service tried to make up for the disturbance. Also, parking lot was full so that parking was delayed until guests exited the parties. If you are going to eat here make sure they do not have any catered parties the night you dine there."

  • "The bright spot at Lago is the food. Once we finally ordered, we enjoyed our meal. Getting to the food is what detracted from experience. The misspellings and lack of description on the menu led to a lot of questions for the waitress. This would not have been a problem but the waitress did not speak English very well and did not understand our questions not the answers she received from the kitchen and other servers when she tried to get them answered. Additionally, we were there with a 4 year old child and the Menu is not child friendly. The Children's Menu is too "adult" and there were no selections our daughter was willing to eat. We will definitely try it again but probably not soon."

  • "Server, Ryan, was very nice and personable, however his inexperience showed. The bus boy was also not on the ball. Water was not refilled, drink ordered came very late - after the meal, and food sent to be wrapped to take home never came back. Food was pretty good, mushroom flatbread was excellent, but not worth the price if I did not have a groupon."

  • "The new owners of this restaurant have done a great job. I liked it before but it is even better now. They have remodeled the bar area and it's really nice. You can either sit at the bar or relax in club chairs. The food is always good, as is the service & ambiance. Love sitting outside overlooking the lake, when weather permits!"

  • "It was a Birthday dinner for just the two of us, Barry was our waiter very helpful and even gave my girlfriend a suggestion for a drink she loved it!! I for one was over whelmed for I don't go out much. The party in the next room we heard the music as we were trying to eat. The sound level did go up while we were there. At first nice little quite place but then the music started and the people in the dining room got louder before you know it was a lot of what sorry didn't hear you and we were at a table for two. Good was very good Barry the waiter great and I would and am going back when the weather gets warmer so I can sit outside and look at the water."

  • "the updates outside and in are very nice. The service was bad from the start. The waitress didn't offer any of the specials, did not tell us there was dressing on the house salad and that the ceaser salad comes with italian dressing on it, not cesear dressing. The stuffed flounder was very over cooked, and portions very small. (3 fingerling potatoes and 3 pieces of broccolini. The chipolte scallops was good, but again, small portions. (3 scallops, 3 fingerling potatoes, 3 brocolini.). the menu is small. will not be going back any time soon."

The desserts were very non-descript and I would not order the pie, cheese cake, or bread pudding (if that's what it was) again. The buffet dessert table actually ran out of several of the advertised options."

When I made the reservation I noted that we would have a handicapped person with our group so asked for a table up front. However, others in my group arrived before me and they were seated at the far end of the dining room."

  • "You can decide, here's what happened. My wife and I ordered 2 scallop dinners. 1 hour and 10 minutes later I tracked down the waiter, who seemed confused, and was surprised that my wife and I was not served dinner yet. Finally they brought our food, but they got my wifes order wrong. Two different people told us, I did not ask, that they would send over the manager/owner to speak wit us. (No one from management ever bothered to come over). (F.Y.I. very small portions - 4 scallops per dinner). On the way out I told the host of my experience and he asked for my name number and email addrss and said 'he would see to it that we would be takencare of and send us an email for a free dinner. - It never happened."
