Laduree is a piece of Heaven in Soho. Personally I love Paris & as u enter the doors to this exquisite setting...you feel as if you have stepped into a piece of Parisian fantasy world. The macaroons melt in your mouth & the read delectable. A must for the dessert & afternoon tea buff.

I've been to a couple Laduree locations in Paris, and it really did feel like I was back there once again! Everything was delicious from start to end. I highly recommend the French toast (so fluffy) and of course you cannot leave without getting macarons. We also had a wonderful cocktail with champagne, strawberry and rose syrup that was simply divine. Other little things like having steamed and frothed milk for our coffee really made the already delicious meal a truly decadent experience. Just lovely. I will be back too many times to count!

The macaroons were great, but what passed for an omelet was the worst omelet I have ever had...basically a flap of scrambled eggs folded over pre-cooked "stuffing." Julia Child is rolling in her grave.

Can't check any of the boxes since there is a great for lunch/brunch box but no box for good for lunch. The pastries are superb; the lunch is mediocre, and the menu is arranged in the most confusing way possible. Stop by and have pastries and coffee, or just get some pastries to go. Otherwise, forget it.

Great spot for a sophisticated, superb tea, breakfast or brunch. I love the eggs benedict Laduree. Restaurant is a little snug, but the ambience is quiet so not a problem. I would definitely consider hosting a shower or small event in the back and want to try sitting in the outdoor courtyard in the warm months. Wouldn't recommend eating in the area where they sell their lovely desserts because the door opens and it will be cold. We sat in the middle room which was perfect and only complaint was that when the door opened, we did feel the cool air, even there.

Was the perfect place to take my parents for brunch when they came to visit. The hot chocolate was amazing, but rich, so you may choose to pass on the extra cup or so left in the pot. Unless you want tea and pastries, the lunch options are a lot more exciting than breakfast. For dessert, anything with rose is amazing. The teas are amazing as well, vanilla and violet are must tries. Don't forget to take some macarons home with you :)

  • A little bit of Paris...
    OpenTable Diner Since 2012
    Dined on 10/26/2014
While visiting NYC recently our group of six women made a reservation for Laduree in SoHo for a Sunday morning. It's a very cute restaurant done up in pastels and actually looks just like the restaurants they have in Paris. We had a great table for six ( if the weather is nice the outdoor seating looks fabulous) and though our service started out very slow once our wonderful server, Julie, came to our table all was well. She had suggestions for our brunch, explained the menu thoroughly and we lingered far longer than we anticipated because it was just a fun experience. Laduree is truly a little bit of Paris amongst the hustle - bustle of NYC.

Very sad that the food is really bad, Like from Disneyworld. Maybe I should know better Laduree is for sweets ,tea and omelet. Don't bother try the food just stay with the Macarron. Also I could not believe the Eclair was so bad .hard and frozen inside. French pastries are the best but not here. At the front of the restaurant the ladies are not friendly. Macarrons are the best !

We had to chase the waiter constantly. Food came out at differents times for me and my friend. Part of my breakfast never made it to the table, we just gave up, didn't want to wait any longer. Overpriced for the poor service they offer. They apologized saying they had a big group in the back celebrating a birthday. Bottom line, if you can't function when a big group comes in, don't accept their reservation.

I've been to this Ladurée location several times, and my latest experience was the best. I went in at brunch time on a Friday, and sat indoors. The service was much quicker than some of my afternoon visits, and the staff was very friendly. The French Toast is to die for (it probably should be, since this is a French restaurant, still, it was some of the best I've ever had), and the atmosphere was lovely and quiet. I am still not too keen on afternoon visits to this location, but brunch (at least, on weekdays) time definitely has my vote.

The food was terrible. I ordered an omelette that was way overcooked and as a result extremely rubbery. My friend ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs were not poached, they were soft boiled. Very poor reflection of the Laduree brand as I have visited the Laduree in Paris and it was excellent.

I used to go when it was the old Barolo just to sit in the patio area and have a glass of wine at the bar. The outdoor area is one of the best in Manhattan. Laduree does a nice brunch if you can tolerate uneven and very slow service. Great omelettes and bakery items (it would be a crime if they didn't get that right). The service was very slow. Too many staff but not attentative with bad memories. It took 10 mins for us to get water and I had to flag down someone. Our food also took at least 25mins to arrive, it was one course and I inquired about it 3x. the restaurant wasn't full. Need experienced mgt because they definitely had enough people.

I never write reviews except when things are fantastic, but my experience at Laduree was so horrible I had to write. We waited 25 minutes for a server to come to us and that was after asking twice for someone to come by. It took another long wait for them to pull together two very average salads and never came back to ask us if everything was good/whether we wanted more wine/etc. After asking twice for a check we held it up in the air to be taken but finally had to get up and walk it over to someone to ring. We could have walked out unnoticed and probably should have. The food was fine - not horrible, but definitely not memorable. The space is beautiful but in truth a bit of a wannabe version of Paris. Super disappointing.
