Ladino Tapas Bar & GrillExcellent all-you-eat buffet. My wife and I had heard about this kosher buffet in midtown. I turned out to be an excellent lunch for under $15. We also treated ourselves to very generous moderately priced drinks . We also appreciated the very friendly service there.6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was very good. ServiceFood was very good. Service was very professional... when they stopped by the table; staff seemed to get overwhelmed at peak time but that may be because it was a national holiday weekend. But they let us linger and talk long after we finished meal. Kudos.
I want to go back and try more things on the menu.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMvery good food and liquorSteaks are very good. They appear to be prime, i.e. soft and cooked as asked. Sides of yuca - mashed & fried, are ok, nothing spectacular. Salads are very good and could be a complete dinner if accompanied with a tapas or soup. Liquor is very good - kosher mojitos, margaritas, beer. The room is not good for conversation- very noisy (sheva brachas, birthdays, graduation parties,...). Will definitely return for the steaks!5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMKosher at the barEnjoyed drink at bar was offered sample hor dorves5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMI went with trepidationLunch was a buffet only. While the choices were limited, everything was so fresh and delicious. I had a piece of the best, freshest fish I have had out in a very long time. I highly recommend this hidden Graeme for a well priced, delicious meal. I can't wait to try it for dinner.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMPricey but worth itWe recently went to Ladino for a n early dinner. Food was great. We ordered several tapas and a main course for two--to be shared by all. Food arrived fairly quickly. The service was good.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMGREAT FOOD!GREAT FUN!GREAT SERVICE!Great, lively atmosphere! Cool vibe! Light meat meal or big meat meal..delicious!! Great service, too!!5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat value for kosher lunchSo nice to have something different as far as kosher options. This restaurant only serves an all you can eat buffet at lunchtime for $15 pp. There was beef stew (my fav), tilapia filets, grilled chicken with cilantro, breaded chicken, mini burger patties (salty for me), platter of grilled veggies (Japanese eggplant, green and yellow squash, asparagus, and peppers) and white rice to spoon that delicious stew sauce over and of course a Latin must...sweet plantains. There was also green salad and a platter of fresh fruit (pineapple, apples, Asian pears, grapes, honeydew, canteloupe, and watermelon. I enjoyed it!5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMWe ordered at 7:30pm on aWe ordered at 7:30pm on a Sunday night and they had run out of both Chilean Sea bass dishes. They came over to tell me after discovering each one which was about 15 minutes or more after we ordered. So I ordered the Halibut which was good and food still came on time. Otherwise, excellent food, nice servers, great Chardonnay and decent singing of Happy Birthday to our teenager with amazing chocolate cake! I will be going back for next celebration or even before!4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food, intrusive music.Kosher tapas? Who-da thunk it? Excellent meal overall!
We started with the quinoa salad-exceptional. The weakest dish was the tortilla de patatas-a wedge of a bland quiche-like preparation. The chicken wings (alas de pollo) were no better or worse than fried wings with hot sauce that I've had elsewhere. (No bleu cheese with it, of course!) It was a generous serving, which was good. The sauteéd mushrooms (champiñones salteados) were EXCELLENT, and short ribs (costilla de res con chipotle) were even better than that. Don't miss them. And that was enough for three enthusiastic, hungry diners.
The only downside was the live music. It was so loud that it was intrusive, spoiling dinner conversation.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMi orderd Delmonico Steaki orderd Delmonico Steak & La Cazuela Del Ladino , Delmonico was very good ,la Cazuela was tasty but the meet was not eatable, also the pot was boiling hot when it was put on the table i got burned from the pot4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMA really great restaurantA really great restaurant even if you're not Kosher. Excellent service!4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMOnly a kosher place wouldOnly a kosher place would consider guacamole a Spanish tapas, but besides that, the ceviche was great, albeit more of a Peruvian starter than a traditional Spanish Tapas, the Sangria was authentic and delicious. Didn't get to try the Patatas Bravas, the ultimate of Tapas dishes because it was listed as a side as opposed to a Tapas and we were too full to order from the sides after we had such a plentiful array of fish and meat Tapas dishes.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious food was tasty andDelicious food was tasty and service was very attentive4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMPassover Brunch? Nice job.Brunch during Passover is a tough ticket. Not many choices out there. The food was excellent, fresh and flavorful. Service eas attentive and not at all rushed. I look forward to returning for a regular lunch or dinner3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat spot to enjoy fish,Great spot to enjoy fish, steak and other goodies. Definitely start with the guacamole3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent restaurantOne of the best Kosher restaurants I've ever been to. I'm not kosher but my husband is, so I've been to many kosher & non-kosher restaurants. This is one of the only kosher restaurants that just seems like a really nice, regular restaurant. The service was impeccable, and the food was very good even though it was during Passover. The ambiance of the place is very nice, though I took one star off for that because it was sooooo crowded that people waiting were packed in not only by the door but down the aisles too. Maybe that's because it was one of the only kosher restaurants open for Passover; I'll give it another chance because of that, but if that is normal for them we'll probably go there less because that takes away from the experience.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMDelightful find during PassoverDelightful find during Passover week. Service was so pleasant and food quite delicious -will return for year 'round dining.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food, Service Not so MuchI love the food at Ladino but this is my second visit where the service was bordering on being rude. The Passover Menu is in place so the typical lunch menu was not available. It was a lunch for two so we split an appetizer and entree'. The reaction to splitting the serving(s) was as if I was suspect to even being allowed to eat there.
Glad we did split - the serving was huge. Service throughout the meal was usually prompted by us asking for the waiter. When he came to the table he approached us like "now what"? I apologized to my first time guest for recommending the restaurant and will think twice before returning.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMLove this restaurant, butLove this restaurant, but the lunch buffet was not to its standards. Will go back, but not for lunch buffet.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was great. veryThe food was great.

But we still really enjoyed and would go back again.1/6/2013 12:00:00 AM
