Our son had scallops with a dusting of truffle which he pronounced delicious, and I had rack of lamb, pricey but generously portioned. It was my birthday and they produced a delicious thin apple tart with ice cream, candle, and decorated plate. The only thing wrong was that our server brought the food a bit too fast, which made the meal feel rushed. And the food matches the decor -- ethereally light and delicious pike quenelles with lobster, creative approaches to seasonal specialties like Nantucket scallops, and if you speak French, the staff and many of the clients will understand.
