This was my first time for dinner, their lunch menu is also great and service was swift and polite.

The menu was extensive, as well as the wine list (with numerous choices for a single glass or 1/2 litre). The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. They prepared 2 special antipasto plates for the 4 of us, one meat/cheese and one veggie. We all had different pasta dishes - fresh, al dente and delicious, and none of us could resist indulging in dessert too. The lemon gelato swirled with Limoncello was a big hit.
What we liked most about the restaurant (besides the food) was the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. This is a happy group of people and they want you to be happy with your dining experience as well! I often meet west-end clients and work colleagues at La Veranda. I take the subway to the Royal York Station. They drive in from Oakville, Guelph, Mississauga, wherever, and conveniently park at the Green P across from the restaurant. I have not had any one say anything but great things about La Veranda, many adding that they will return during the evening and/or weekends with their spouse or significant other.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMDeliciosoTook my mom here for an early Mother's Day dinner and we had a great time. Most of the staff are delightful and the great personalities match the vibrant food.
