I feel like it's a great "comfort food" place, the sauces are thick and hearty, the setting is very comfortable, etc. I am a huge fan of Italian food and I always enjoy it when I go to la tosca for dinner. I've dined at the restaurant on a Friday night and it's a great set up, noise is moderate, and the later you stay the more personal it feels as other tables empty. Great place for a date night, small group, associates, or a night with some friends. The waiter was okay, nothing spectacular or anything, at times I felt he hovered too much and was kind of annoying in that sense but the orders were correct and the meal was nice so it's not that bit of a deal. After a few failed attempts this location again has a wonderful restaurant to replace one that was popular for years. They serve two types of bread before the meal, one being a typical bread and the other a special treat. The soup was extra hardy and delicious. We both had the Involtini alla Angelotti which we had before, but it was so good we wanted it again.
