We arrived on time for our reservation. The restaurant was very crowded and we were asked to wait. We stood in the middle of the dining room as there was no room at the bar, or other area to wait. A table of 4 left, and they seated two people at the table when they clearly could have split the table and seated us as well. After 30 min. we left and went elsewhere. Interestingly, on Open Table the restuarant was still accepting reservations at the same time that they could not seat us. It was clear that none of the tables were any where near being ready for turn over. Very disappointing. We will not return.

La Tosca continues to be our favorite place to dine in San Carlos. Owner Jack is gracious and always provides the best quality food. My new favorite for lunch is the calamari salad. The chef is always onto of his game with consistent high quality. We just went there to dnner with another couple to celebrate a special occasion. Everything was fantastic!!, thanks, Jack!!!
