The food, service and atmosphere were way beyond most of the Italian restaurants in the area, particularly the big higher priced chains. Very good Italian food, homemade sausages, my husband is a beer drinker not wine and the beer was very cold. Service was very good, very attentive, did not wait long for anything. It is our "go to" restaurant when we want a quiet, pleasant dinner that is based on traditional Italian fare. We visit it on special occasions when we are seeking high quality food, great service, and pleasant atmosphere. La Torretta does not cater to "foodies" and people seeking a "wow" experience based on the latest trendy food and entertainment concepts.
