Food was great. Ordered 3 different dinners all were Good and large servings! We were seated immediately! Wait staff could have been more attentive but the place was busy and they were not bad. On a fun corner enjoyed sitting outside. Staff was friendly. Very happy we found this place through open table. Had a very fun hip feeling.

My wife and myself don't get into DC very often and were in town for the Fiona Apple concert. We thoroughly enjoyed our pre-concert meal at La Tomate. The serveice was excellent and the food was very good while being priced right.

Charming restaurant in a great DC location. Menu has something for everyone - with salads, pastas, meat and fish. Our party of nine was quite comfortable, and our server was very attentive. The pasta dishes are hearty, and quite tasty. The chocolate souffle was exquisite - worth every calorie!
