  • "Three of four entrees were delivered at the same time.....the filet mignon arrived 10 minutes later & was raw on the inside...not medium. The staff seemed to be scurrying around, so much so that the manager delivered the re-cooked steak (not a new one but the cut-into-steak that had been put back on the grill) himself with apologies. Mistakes happen, but this should not have happened. The food was good, atmosphere nice. It's a shame that an incident like that spoiled the evening."

  • "If you don't want to eat in a rubber stamp restaurant with scripted dialogue from the servers then choose LaTavola. The service staff are informed from a personal perspective from the drinks to the desserts. The service was timely and not rushed. The specialty drink menu was long enough to give you a good selection and included a variety of choices outside of the usual margarita options. The baked clams were whole, flavorful and wonderfully seasoned with just the right amount of breadcrumbs and garlic. the sauce was a little lemony but still worth dunking your bread in. the buratta cheese and artichokes were perfectly blended and the calamari was tender. the main course of parmesan pork was a little well done but flavorful. the risotto"

  • "I took my wife to La Tavola for Valentines Day dinner. It was the third time I've been to the restaraunt but the first I have dined indoors. The interior is quite nice. Liz was an awesome waitress. The food was delicious. I had the seafood potpie and my wife had the scallops."

  • "My husband and I had dined here before and it was great. This time we brought our 5 yr old and 2 yr old boys. The kids were welcomed with a nice kids menu complete with a coloring area, but no crayons. Glad I brought my own! Food was delicious and our server was attentive. Only 2 issues we had were 1) we were seated in the additional room on the east side of the restaurant and it was freezing cold, and 2) we had to wait about 15-20 mins between being finished with our appetizers and receiving our entrees. Other than that it was delightful!"

  • "As always the food was very good. I was a little surprised that they ran out of Prime Rib by 9pm on NYE and the servers response was "well it 9pm and the last seating is soon". Well, it was 9pm on New Years Eve, technically there was still 3 hours til the end of the night. Seeing that much of the menu was seafood related running out of Prime rib was not good. They substituted a Sirloin which was supposed to be 20oz but looked more like 12oz and charged the same price as Prime Rib $58. The server apparently not thrilled to be working that night was not the happiest camper. It put a crimp on dinner but didn't ruin the night."

Our meals were so well prepared and delicious but we made sure we had the desert which is always incredible, we can start our diets the next day.   • "I will not return to your restaurant or recommend it. Service was poor, calamari was like rubber and ceasar salad looked like it had been sitting around and was bland. Main course was good but our server did not even bother to offer fresh pepper or parmesan cheese (I had the rigatoni and meatballs and had to ask her for cheese). One of our guests was celebrating her birthday. When the staff was informed they brought her a coffee cup filled with whipped cream and a lit candle… just whipped cream (from a can). They had the nerve to include a 20% tip because we were a party of six. It was horrendous."

  • "We went for my husband's birthday with our kids (16, 14, 10).. The waitress came over, told us about the specials but never asked us for our drink order. The food was not spectacular, my linguine and clam sauce was too lemony and my coconut gelato was covered in a strong peach syrup that overpowered it. Our waitress was never around and we had to ask other servers for help. I asked the hostess for a candle in my husband's dessert to acknowledge his birthday. She said of course and I watched her walk away and tell our waitress. Dessert came and nothing, not even a happy birthday. We had to track down another waitress to get our check because once again our waitress was nowhere to be seen. We were very disappointed at a very high price."

  • "We were a group of 9 and had reservations for 7:30. It was very busy and I guess they were running behind, maybe over booked from restaurant week. We didn't sit down to eat until almost 9 but they apologized over and over and gave us 2 drinks each on the house, they also brought us appetizers while we waited in the bar area. Their amazing customer service will definitely make me return. I was very impressed with all of them."

The beet salad was excellent and the dinners were fine. Only downfall....we were rushed to vacate the table and our server was hard to find."

  • "Made the reservation for our 1st anniversary.When we got there,we were sat at the worst table.Right by the door &my seat was so close to the table behind us I couldn't get up & if my husband moved back we would be blocking a path.Immediately I asked for another table, apparently all the other tables are reserved.Our waitress came &I told her I wasnt happy sitting there &wanted to move. The older hostess came over to again explain the other empty tables were reserved &I told her I made a reservation too &would never reserve that table.She told us she tries to avoid sitting ppl there &hates that table,I asked her why would I be ok sitting there.Think the manager heard us &we moved. If they hadn't moved us,we would've left.Left a bad taste."

  • "I had been to this restaurant a few years ago and was quite happy with it. This visit I was sorely disappointed .... The waitress was curt and unfriendly. The food was overpriced for the portions. I ordered the fig salad which was good but the fig pizza was tasteless and bland. An eight dollar share fee is outrageous especially for the prices. My friends who had pasta and a different pizza experienced the same complaints. I will definitely not be going back."

  • "Gave this restaurant a try after a matinee at the Patchogue Theatre. The menu was diverse and the entire staff was very friendly and efficient. Great ambiance and atmosphere in the dining room. The outdoor dining also looked very pleasant. One cool thing...there was a blackboard hyping their diner loyalty program. If you sign up via text as you're sitting there at the table, right on the spot you receive 10% off your check! We'll definitely go back to try out some of the other interesting looking menu items!"
