La Tagliatella is a European-based Italian restaurant. We specialize in the rustic culinary traditions of Northern Italy and pride ourselves on authenticity and uniqueness. We import our key ingredients from Italy including: tomatoes from Puglia; Parmesan cheese from Emilia Romagna; Gorgonzola cheese from Lombardia; buffalo"s mozzarella from Campania; mushrooms from Trentino's region and focaccia from Genova...

We offer insalate, anitpasti, Napoletano-style pizza, our very own proprietary pasta and sauces as well as veal and filet mignon. And please don't miss our desserts - they are truly unique and fantastic as well.

We have also designed our restaurant to boast a beautiful full service bar to dine in, enjoy Happy Hour and meet new friends while enjoying one of our Specialty Cocktails, great wine or draft beer.

  • "This is a great neighborhood Italian restaurant in the Emory area. The caesar salad had actual anchovies on them, adding an authentic touch to an often times over dressed salad. I had the chicken piccata while my wife had the pappardelle with parmigiano and truffle. Both were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. There were not a lot of customers dining which is unfortunate. The restaurant is very good and great place for lunch or dinner. Our server, Taylor, was awesome!"

  • "No mystery meat, phantom soup, blindmans bluff meals in this place. great chicken picatta, huge salads and creative pastas. The manager and staff were open and friendly, but our server MARIA was straight out of Westside Story, warm, fun, confident and thoroughly professional. Her service was fast efficient and timed to perfection ( that's right, the broccoli was warm when it got to the table!) . Hell we are coming back just to experience that phenomena. "

  • "We were in Atlanta for a conference and decided to host a small dinner party at La Tagliatella for Rutgers-University alumni living in Atlanta and the surrounding areas. We chose the restaurant because of customer reviews and are glad that we did. We were truly pleased with every aspect of our experience at the restaurant, from our warm greeting at the door from the hostess to the attentiveness of the waitress at our table and the thoughtfulness of the manager . Our food was delicious, hot, and visually pleasing to the eye. We were so comfortable and were having such a good time that we closed the place down, and subsequently missed our ride back to the hotel. We told the staff our situation and they quickly called a cab. Outstanding!"

  • "I took my team here for Administrative Professionals Day. There were 6 of us, and we all ordered something different. We all found our meals to be mediocre. Not bad, but certainly not note-worthy. The server repeatedly forgot our requests, brought one order 20 minutes after the others, and was generally absent-minded and neglectful."

  • "My wife and I live in the Emory neighborhood and have been trying to visit all of the restaurants in the new Emory Point development. We decided to visit La Tagliatella and could not have enjoyed it more. We walked in on Saturday night and were seated right away. This is not to say the restaurant is not busy, on the contrary it was quite full, but they had their act together and were ready for us when we walked in. We started off with a shared Caesar salad that was more than enough for two people. The Salume pizza was outstanding, and my wife had one of the pasta dishes with grilled chicken, which she loved. We then finished it off with one of the desserts which was amazing. We will definitely be back soon."

  • "La Tagliatella has some of the best pizza around, and the prices are reasonable for how much is served. The dessert menu is also quite good. The service, unfortunately, is not. As a wheelchair patron, I sat outside the patio gate for several minutes watching the hostess walk by before having to call to be let in. The hostess then walked away for several minutes and I had to tell a server that I had a reservation to be seated. Service improved considerably for the meal itself,but I had to go request plates after we received our bread. I can't really recommend the restaurant based on my experience."

  • "We loved the place. Staff was wonderful, knowledgeable and more than willing to please. Our reservation requesting a quiet table was honored with no problem and with great desire to please. Staff was quick ad efficient and as nice as can be, the menu is great, but takes a bit getting used to. It allows you to custom tailor your meal to your specific taste by selecting the pastas and sauces independently. Great idea. I am sensitive to salt. All the meals, to mee, seemed excessively salty. My dining companions also agreed. This was a Monday night. Went back Tuesday for apps and drinks and did not seem to taste the salt as much. Maybe it was just that one night. The restaurant is gorgeous!"

  • "Everything was great! Our server Taylor was super attentive without being overbearing. He made great recommendations and offered advice with pasta and sauce pairing. The food was also wonderful. Specializing in the neopalatana(sp?) region, you'll find some great menu items you cannot find at other Italian restaurants. I had pasta stuffed with gorsogonzola and pear, so good!! We will definitely be coming back!"

  • "The restaurant is pleasant and the waitress was nice. We ordered 1/2 Caesar salads and Napoletano Brouchette. Salads were OK. The brouchette,not so. The brouchette comes with gnochi and dipping sauce. It was obvious that the pork had not been cooked to order but "warmed" up. The "roasted tomato" were cold. We both sent ours back to have the tomatoes cooked. The tomatoes were now warm but the meat was dry, and flavorless. The gnochi were obviously packaged and warmed up. I ate some of mine but sent 80% back because it was awful. My cousin ate most of hers but sent 25% of it back. I spoke to the manager and told him that when I order food, I expect it to be cooked to order and not warmed in a microwave. I will NOT be back."

  • "I rarely provide feedback unless it is really good or really bad. And La Tagliatella was really bad! it was a slow weeknight yet the food took over 45 minutes to rach the table for the two of us. And the order was incorrect when it arrived. The manager came out to apologize and offered to pay for the meal and provide free desserts. After sitting for a while and watching the table next to us order dessert and coffee and later see it arrive, we finally just asked to please let us go. It was so bad i thought there may be a hidden camera and it was some kind of a trick. I think the manager is well intended, but a lot of operational pains with the restaurant. I would steer clear for quite a while until they get their act together."

  • "Our waiter was Anthony & he was a good waiter but so into himself. He kept telling us things about the resturant & food that began with "I did..." as if he were the chef or the owner. It was totally obnoxious! Also, we thought the portions were small compared to most Italian resturants. My friend got the lasagna & a small Ceasar salad & he went away still hungry. Anthony brought us just 2 of the very small rolls promising to bring more when they came out of the oven but never did. The atmosphere was very nice, but we will not be back."

  • "We booked a reservation for 10 through Open Table and received an e-Mail confirmation. However, when we showed up at the appointed time, the restaurant had no record of our reservation. The staff were able to prepare a table on the spot (as it was not a very busy time). Bottom line--you may need to check with the restaurant after making an open table reservation to make sure that the information has been processed."

It was literally like night and day. Fortunately, the pastas are great--when you go with what they recommend, and the management is great."
