We passionately explore every aspect of authentic Italian cuisine to provide the best tastes and textures directly from their origin. Our attention to such detail starts from the Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, with its own Denomination of Origin (ripened in caves for 24 months), our pizza dough, elaborated with two different kinds of grain to achieve its particular taste and consistency, to our buffalo milk mozzarella made following the genuine traditional Italian recipe.

  • "Party of 5 - everyone was very happy with the plates they had chosen - delicious! Service started out great, but was sometimes spotty throughout the night. Wrong dishes brought to our place one time. Towards the end of the meal, manager seemed very unhappy with scowls on face. He began talking to various groups of staff who stormed away from him very unhappy. Short thereafter, much of staff ran into the kitchen with manager and returned to the floor with unpleasant looks on their face. All of this was very apparent to the guests. Otherwise, a great food experience!"

  • "We had to send our food back because it was cold and when it was returned to us, clearly it had been microwaved. Even the spaghetti! and a so called 'baked dish' was simply pasta with powder parmessan sprinkled on top. The staff was not what you'd expect to find at a restaurant on Miracle Mile either. Just overall poor experience. Definately has gone down hill since first opening."

  • "Kudos to the chef-normally pesta sauce is normally very oily but this was the right consistency and extremely enjoyable with the al dente rigatone. Staff very accomodating as 2 additional joined our group of 6 and everyone could not haave been nicer."

  • "Recently we went to crlebrate the birthday of a relative. I informed the maitre d and also put in my reservation At open table. I told the server too. Nobody cared to Bring a dessert with a candle or even say happy bitthday. This was a downer, even at pizza parlor on my neighborhood The servers come with a dessert and a candle. Servers need to be trained. And the maitre d should Comunicate these details. After all this is a People business, there are 1000 restaurants and we go To the one that gives best service. Not this one!"

  • "We had dinner at this restaurant on an friend's advice. It was worth it! The food is great, service is customer focused and the decor makes the whole package. We all had pasta and raved about it - all fresh and made on site with many sauces to pick from. I liked the parmigiana and truffles. My husband did say that the bolognese sauce could have been better. My son did not complain about small portions! Try the peppered carpaccio! A definite must visit!"

  • "the food was spectacular but service was mediocre. The host was great, sat us quickly and was giving out roses (for the valentines day festivities). the server, however, rarely made an appearance by out table. took about 10 minutes to get menus, anpther 15 for him to come back and take our order, and then served out meal without utensils before disappearing again. The restaurant was not packed at all, pleanty of empty tables so i dont know why he kept disappearing. As far as the food, it really was delicious. we had the foccacia breads for an appetizer and they were sincerely one of the most delicious things i've ever eaten. I ordered the gnocchi carbonara with shrimp,the gnocchi melts in your mouth,you can tell it is authentic italian."

  • "I made reservations based only on having driven by this relatively new place on Miracle Mile. After reserving a week in advance decided to read the "reviews" which to my amazement were a 50/50 split of one and 4-5 stars. Nervous about how the evening would go, my wife and I went not expecting a whole lot but Angelica our waitress from Peru (in an Italian rest) was super friendly and helpful. Started with a Torre di Pisa, a veggie delight. My wife's green lasagna was pretty good (and abundant) while my veal scallopine was a bit drier than it should have been but the mushroom gravy and the pasta side (decided against the veggie/potato standard) made up for it. Overall, a great evening with the only surprise on the positive side."

  • "Last Sunday we dined at a nearby restaurant and on our way back to the car, we saw La Tagliatella. We liked the atmosphere as well as the menu posted outside. So yesterday, my hubby and I decided to go for an early dinner since we had not eaten lunch. We sat in a raised booth which gave us an excellent opportunity to people watch. The decor is quite interesting! My husband ordered the traditional lasagna and he can't stop bragging about it "the best lasagna I've had in a very long time." I ordered a cuore squash filled pasta with salmone which was divine. Angelica was a great waitress and recommended a delicious sauce for my pasta."

  • "I don't know what happened to this place. We watched it being built and so excited about a new Italian place in Gables. We went twice when it first opened and it was amazing. Best pizza! Last week it was horrible. And I believe several others think the same because it was empty on a Thursday night! The music was so loud we had to ask to turn it down, and we are not complainers! The food was ok. Such a beautiful place to go downhill so fast."

Ordered a salad, came out at the same time as my meal. My meal looked as it had come out of a box. A real shame... Place is very pretty, might just be de to their 4 months opening, but still think they could have done better."

  • "We have been 3 times to this restaurant and each time it has gotten worse. On our second visit, they were out of several dishes on the pasta menu. The last time we went they brought my husband the wrong dish and insisted it was not the wrong dish. When they finally corrected the issue, the dish came out cold. Everytime we have gone we have noted that the dishes come out far too quickly. The main course has come either while we were still eating our appetizers or a minute later. The staff seems disoriented and poorly trained. As much as we wanted to make this our new family place, it just has too many problems to keep going back. It is just not a pleasant dining experience."

  • "We have been watching this place with interest because of the decor and location. When you enter... it's amazing. The decor takes you to another place and time. Unfortunately we were there on Dec 24 and evidently they had a chef walk out. Our server, bless her heart, was also the bartender. Our food arrived over 40 minutes after ordering (pizza, pasta and salads). When is came it was warm at best and there was a 10 minute lapse from the time the first person got her food to the last - party of 5. We will probably try again... but management really needs to put some resources behind their staff and let them do their jobs."

The Meatballs were outstanding, the fresh mozz melted in your mouth, Caesar salad was enough for 4 of us to share. Veal, Pizzas and the Goat Cheese stuffed pastas all phenomenal....I was so pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately we did not save room for dessert, can't wait to go back!"

  • "La Tagliatella offers a hgh end Italian restaurant in the heart of Coral Gables. Service was outstanding, making us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. The decor is sophisticated but the lighting so dark couldnt see anything. Caesar salad was very flavorful and whatever was used on the tomatoes made them so wonderful. Spagetti with meat sauce and pasta with vodka sauce both nice. But the bread was cold -- warm bread would have been so much better and the restaurant is a bit pricey."
