"Some work colleagues came in town with short notice and I was looking for a nice place to host them without completely breaking the bank. I saw a number of positive reviews on La Strada and thought I'd give it a try. The restaurant turned out to be the perfect balance of nice ambiance and intimateness for a business occasion, with good ambient noise and activity to make it not feel too formal. The calamari was great and somewhat unique with the incorporation of asparagus and two different sauces. We each had different entrees - mine was the butternut squash ravioli, which was very good and the perfect size to fill me up without the need for a true first course. Everyone else seemed very pleased with their meals. All in all, enjoyable."

"This is our second time at La Strada. First we went as a date and second as a group of 4. Both times we have had great service and food. The restaurant is a bit squished so tables are close. The restaurant is very friendly and relaxing. The food was great and we are going back!"

"We made the reservation for one week ahead to hope that we will get a table with a good view and quiet. Guess what? The Hostess seats us at a very poor table. This is not what we are looking for. Should we walk out??? Bye Bye!!!"

"Went to La Strada on a friend's recommendation and was not disappointed. Three of us went for lunch and everything was delicious. We shared the Schiacciata pizza as an appetizer - prosciutto, cream cheese and arugula. Perfectly crispy light base, delicious flavor combination - wonderful. Gnocchi with pork ragu was super tasty, and the carbonara was as good as any I've had. We shared two desserts - the panna cotta was decent, and the Soffiato di Cioccolato was superb. Overall we had an excellent meal and great service."

"Great place for a fancy meal on University Ave. I've came here a few times a year for special occasions (most recently a 2 year anniversary) and each time the food was wonderful. The waiter is attentive and makes sure the food arrives when it should. You aren't rushed and you don't spend a lot of time waiting for the next course. Great service all around!"
