For years I have been saying that they needed to make the menu and they finally got rid of the handwriting you sometimes couldn't read and went to a menu that is printed. The food and service was very good as usual. We were seated immediately and pasta was hot and tasty.

Dining at La Sorelia di Francesca in Naperville is a truly wonderful, relaxing experience. The wait staff is attentive but not intrusive. Drinks are superb and the wine list includes something for every taste and budget...and the food is the best! From the asparagus, tomato and blue cheese salad to the roasted chicken and potatoes, the ricotta gnocchi and the fabulous key lime pie, each member of our dining party enjoyed dining in this Naperville standout. Francesca hits the mark from honoring a special table request to the perfect timing of meal service.

With La Sorella di Francesca, you can count on three things: 1. World class Italian food 2. Attentive and personalized service 3. A memorable dining experience If I want an extraordinary dining experience that's consistently terrific and always memorable, this is where my wife and I go. If I have family, guests, and/or business associates I need to impress, this is where we go. Francesca's would put any Italian restaurant in New York, San Francisco, LA - heck Rome, Florence or Bari - to shame. Thanks for being there and always making it great. Cheers, Peter

We have been going to “la Sorella” for wonderful Italian food for nearly twenty years; they have never disappointed us. For appetizers, my wife and I shared fried calamari while another couple had it sautéed; having tasted both we can attest that they were both excellent. As a main course, three of us ordered Veal Scaloppini and it was nothing short of exquisite. Some of our guests, who are definitely “foodies” claimed that it was one of the beast meals that have ever had…anywhere! As usual the service was top notch; our wait person was attentive but not intrusive and the atmosphere as always was lively but not too noisy. There is a new fresh menu everyday and, especially considering the quality of the food, prices are quite reasonable.

The atmosphere was good. The table that we were seated at was actually in the isle. The restaurant was trying to make room for as many customers as possible. This felt a bit strange to be seated in the flow of foot traffic. The service was excellent. There was no wait time to be seated. The waitress was very accommodating and gave great service. The food quality was excellent. I plan to return for future meals at this restaurant.

We came here on a Thursday nite and it was quite busy, very glad we had made reservations! We had a nice dinner: great salad, seafood risotto, roasted chicken and lemon chicken. It was nice of them to accommodate us when we asked for an appetizer that was not on the menu but they were able to make it! Finished with an amazing chocolate flourless cake with raspberry sauce! Had a great time, and will return again!

They were very gracious about us being 15 minutes late and promptly seated us at a window table per our request. We expressed the desire to enjoy our drinks before the meal and our waiter obliged. The roasted chicken and halibut were wonderful. The restaurant is loud, but having been there before we knew that. A wonderful meal.

I came across this restaurant as I was looking for a date night spot. The food was amazing although a tad pricy. The noise level was high and made it slightly difficult to converse with my date. However, the bus boys were fantastic! Very attentive with the drinks and plates. They were accommodating with the needs of everyone.

We sat in their "alley" patio on a Friday evening. There was a young, but very talented high school student playing the violin just a few yards away on the sidewalk. It felt like Georgetown or Greenwich Village. Very enjoyable. We found the prices reasonable, food delicious, portions generous, and service attentive. Our only criticism are the limited menu selections. Nevertheless, we loved it!

Nice outdoor area. Great wine. Great service. Loud inside. Calamari was too salty. Pesto sauce was thin and watery. Food was not hot. The bread was good. Our waitress was very nice. Took the calamari off the bill. This place would be great and I would consider going back if the food was better.

This dining spot is right in the heart of Naperville, which is what we were looking for with the kids on Saturday evening. We were able to book a reservation same day. The service here was exceptional and were accommodating when we asked to turn down the AC upon our arrival as it was a bit chilly on the top floor. Unfortunately, we were unimpressed with the food. The tomatoes in the Caprese salad were not ripe and the Cavetelli e pesto con Pollo was extremely bland and left a lot to be desired. Will probably not return.

We have been to a couple other Francesca's and decided to try this one out since it's closer to home. They didn't disappoint. We had 2 appetizers the calamari and the brusetta and both were amazing. My husband had the rib eye steak and I had the roasted chicken with oven baked potatoes. This dish is to die for. I get it EVERY time I go to a Francesca's! Everything was wonderful. Our server was a joy, making sure we had what we needed, but not going overboard bothering us. The ambiance is charming as well. I haven't been to La Sorella di Francesca in a few years--no particular reason, just hadn't been. I had forgotten just how good it is. I got a negroni, my companion a very good and reasonably priced glass of cabernet. Our appetizer, the Carpaccio, arrived, and while it seemed huge when it was set down in front of us, we enjoyed every last morsel. My lovely companion enjoyed rigatoni with sausage (sadly, no peas), and it was hearty and delicious. I opted for the Pollo Saltamboca. The portion was large but every bite delicious and tender. With our dinner, I opted for a Pinot Gris, and my date another glass of cabernet. The lemon torte with cream cheese for dessert was modestly sized, but absolutely delicious. Service was attentive.

We've enjoyed going to La Sorella many times since it opened in Naperville, but had not been for a couple years so we decided to go last Friday before moving out of state. Food was still good; service was great but the ambiance was very disappointing -- it seems La Sorella has become so kid-friendly, as one of our party remarked, it's like being in an upscale Chucky Cheese. We all have kids and enjoy them as much as anyone does -- but when going out to dinner, we were looking for a place with a different vibe than this one.

My wife and I enjoy going to La Sorella di Francesca's for special occasions. I booked our reservation thru opentable.com and requested a window seat to celebrate our 15th anniversary. Our waitress was fantastic. The walnut salad was great. My wife ordered the halibut, but with the Balsamico sides that came with the skate wing (capers and spinach). It was awesome. I had the seafood pasta (very good, but had remorse..should have ordered the halibut al Balsamico).
