However, the staff was very friendly and attentive which made the visit more pleasant. The food was delicious and we especially enjoyed the unique guacamole offerings they had during the guacamole festival. We tried the kiwi margaritas and they were delicious. My only complaint is that the drinks, while delicious were very weak. I expect a much stronger drink for the price which was a whopping $10 dollars for one drink. Perfect place for girls night out or a romantic date. This last time I took my 4yr old son who loves fries but they weren't on the kids menu. The server pulled some strings and got him fries with his meal! It may seem small but when you have small children and go out to eat its important that they are happy so us parents can enjoy the meal too. I appreciate that our server went out of his way for us! The food is always consistently delicious! The service is hit or miss though whether it's busy or not, sometimes you have a great server and sometimes they are not so great. This time we went for lunch and it wasn't busy at all. Our server just wasn't interested in helping or serving. We had to ask several times for items and even then it took quite a while. The roasted corn soup and table side guacamole are both great (though the onions are sometimes a little over the top on the guac). I highly recommend the carnitas and fajitas as well. The tacos can be a bit boring and could use some more garnishment for interest. Good chips & salsa, and drinks as well!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMOur server was quite accommodatingOur server was quite accommodating and patient despite our fluctuation of party size from reservation, a long time waiting for the complete party to arrive and taking some time to decide what everyone wanted to order. Though this may have been frustrating for any server, she did not show it, and she still gave us great service, even bringing my mom a birthday dessert.
