La Plazuela at La Fonda on the PlazaPerfect!My Husband and I celebrated our Anniversary there, and it was incredible. The food was delicious! I recommend the Pork Carnitas Appetizer, and my husbands Barrel Cut Pork was incredible. The best part of the evening was our server Stormi, she was just perfect. We were surprised at the number of people there on a Monday night, but service was very good regardless. The high ceilings, cheerfully painted glass windows makes for very pleasant surroundings without having views. The food was delicious and the presentation lovely!

My wife had the chile rellenos and they were a little bland. Since one cannot sample each and every chile this is beyond the chefs control. However, the breading on the chiles was found in one big clump under the chile sauce rather than around the relleno itself. The crab cakes were fantastic and the butternut squash bisque was even better. I had the filet y enchiladas which was excellent. The accompanying pasole was one of the best I've had. We finished with the flan which was also excellent.
