Mussels (Poulette & Nicoise) ($16 each), wine (Le Paradou Grenache) ($9) & beer (Kronenbourg) (market) & green salad (market). Came for a light, brief meal and wasn't disappointed. Service was excellent; attentive, accommodating and friendly. Mussels bowls are large and perfect for sharing; they come with a side of french fries and baguettes for dipping in the sauces. Surrounded by couples enjoying the full menu; the variety is wide and tasty. Dessert is always a highlight but this time, didn't have any room. We had a 10 year old grandson with us and while they do not have a kids menu but accommodated him really well. The food was really good. I love a good croquet monsieur and this one was one of the best I've had. The béchamel was incredible. The decor evokes flavors of France and reminds me of a traditional French café. I especially appreciated the art which appears to be by local artists provided by the local arts society. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive and made sure I was taken care of. We had foie gras (as good as you can find in Paris), lamb shank, and duck, then pistachio creme brulee for dessert. The owner was on the floor and stopped by our table several times to ensure that we had a great experience.
