Because we hit major traffic we came about 30 minutes late and needed to dine quickly to make the show. The staff could not have been more accommodating. We had a good meal in an expedited fashion and made the show. Great food for the price (the only thing our group got that wasnt to-die-for was the ricotta pizza). The pasta, sides and wine list were fabulous! The tables were set up in a conversation friendly way. The service was amazing and friendly. The food was delicious. The food was excellent, service and friendlyness of e staff was great. My only complaint was that, as a couple, we were told we could not be seated at a booth because they needed them for larger parties. My wife wanted to sit side by side because it was a special celebration. I asked the manager and he said he could seat us at a private booth across from the kitchen, which was very cozy actuall better than the regular booths. The lights are low but not so low that you cannot see what you are eating. We had a booth and that helped keep the noise level to a minimum. There are very few places to go downtown after a movie or for a meal that is good for the middle to older generation. This is not a bar scene. There is a lounge in the hotel with couches music and a portion of the restaurant menu.
