Worth a visit for sure. Try to save room for dessert, but we watched one of our companions devour a flaming masterpiece .5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat experience, even with kids!I never take my kids to a restaurant - they are little monkeys - but we had to, for Mother's Day with my MIL. The service was WONDERFUL - attentive, accommodating, and they did not frown at my little monkeys. They have nice private booths where I was able to keep the monkeys hidden for the most part. The caprisi salad was terrific, and the mozzarella sticks were definitely a step up from the usual fare. The halibut was not so good, with some stuffed crab meat on top - seemed maybe like it was frozen together as a prepared meal - blech. They de-shelled my MIL's lobster meal at her request, and she and the rest of my family really enjoyed their dishes. This was a great experience overall and we will be back. We love it because the food is consistently wonderful and the wait staff is so nice and attentive. It is a totally delightful experience all around and we even love that they happily open and pour wine that you bring in or that you buy at the wine shop next door. The pasta entres we had were excellent, great flavor and not too large of portions. We also had the cream of broccoli soup which was also excellent. The restaurant was very comfortable, we sat in a booth. Our waiter was really very nice and took good care of us. We were there for a couple of hours catching up and they never rushed us out of there. The food was good. The environment is casual (booths on one side and tables on the other side) of a long room. Service is very attentive but not to the point of being intrusive. Really enjoyed our lunch. $15-$16 pasta entree's with seafood, yet there were sandwiches for $10. It's BYOB. Would we come back, indeed we will! You probably would walk past this restaurant a few times without noticing it, maybe you already have, as it is simply an orange awning on what appears to be a glass storefront. The fruit flambe was outstanding!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMCozy Neighborhood GemOur first time at this charming byob in Princeton on Witherspoon St. Cozy tables, attentive service - and great food! We started with the calamari - drizzle of balsamic glaze over - nice touch - salad of crisp duck was good - but duck not as crispy as I would like - we had two risottos from the menu - both delicious and the rack of lamb was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Dessert was a fruit flambe served table side - nice presentation - over delicious gelato - perhaps from the Bent Spoon?
Another plus - they take reservations and a liquor store is next door -

From great food to attention dealt by the chef/owner himself. Went there for pre-theater but could have spent the evening. I had the wild boar paperdelle, recommended personally by the chef. Outstanding. Slalds, superb. Desert, so good it was evil. Don't miss it. Only drawv=back is the lively noise, if that bothers you. But I could hear who I needed to hear and the rest became more of a part of the energetic ambiance. It's BYOB, so is easily reimbursable with our work dinner policy. Time after time, we've been blown away by the food and great service. First time was a very good experience. Second time - after they added, I believe, a row of tables in the middle of the restaurant - was not as enjoyable because it was noisy and hectic. This time we went on a Sunday evening and it was not at all crowded, so we were able to relax and enjoy the food. One of us had seafood risotto which, although not a huge portion, had plenty of fish in it and was very good.
