It is very high end, I.e., expensive, and their dress code is nothing short of ridiculous given the Hawaii seaside location. Granted, I guess you want to eliminate the bathing suits and bare feet, but the prices should do that with no problem. The food was excellent quality, although portions were tiny as is common in this type of high end restaurant. My dining companion found her food too salty to eat, but she is very sensitive to salt. The sauces used on the entrees were very rich and almost overwhelming. I would recommend the chef tone it down a bit and let the favors of the food come through rather than drown them in the sauce.

They treat you as if you've been there 100 times, even if its your first time. Exquisite food, amazing wine list and finished off by the incredible scenic views of the ocean. The food, while good, was nothing memorable and certainly overpriced, even by Honolulu standards. This is a beautiful facility. It's just not worth paying $400 for a dinner for two, that would cost less than $200, on the mainland.
