La Masseria RIVery nice!We have been to La Masseria several times and have always enjoyed ourselves. On this visit, my wife and I were there with our 2 adult sons to celebrate Mothers Day. We had an excellent window table upstairs. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was wonderful and we enjoyed some very nice wine. The prices there are always reasonable for the quality of food and service received.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Northern Italian RestaurantLa Masseria consistently produced the best and most creative Northern Italian-style in Rhode Island, better than anything Providence has to offer, and on a par with NYC & Boston venues. Perhaps it is because the original La Masseria is a NYC site that gave it its start, but now it has its own identity.

Food was a minor disappointment. Very small portions without a corresponding price. Meat was slightly overcooked and the starch(potatoe) was a "piece" of one potatoe and a small piece at that.
