"Nice space but extremely noisy on busy nights, to the point that it's hard to talk when you are dining with more than one other person. Not much on the menu for vegetarians, but carnivores will probably be pretty happy. Bread basket is deliciously filled w/homemade breads. They also make all their own desserts including the Junk Food Platter (must order this!!!--cotton candy, rice krispy treats, ding dongs, sno-balls, and MORE)."

"Unfortunately, the service was lacking. Considering the proximity to Staples Center and Nokia, you would think that a 6:15 reservation would allow us time to enjoy our dinner before the 8:00 pm show next door. It took more than an hour, and much prodding, to get our food. The runner tried delivering both our appetizers and entrees to the table next to us. There was no manager to complain to, and, the YOUNG person (early 20s)who approached our table, after the bill was paid, was incapable of carrying herself with any type of authority (offering dessert when we were already late was not going to help the situation).

Too bad. The food was great, but I could not recommend."

"Overall all was good, the lady who greets you needs to go to etiquette class....she made us wait, when there was no line, then left to get lunch menus and asked outr name three times....when she went to seat us, (there were 25 open tables) I asked for a window seat and it irritated her to the point where she basically set the menus down and left"

"This my tenth time at LA Market. I love the ambience and the food, however, this time, the service was lacking. We took our two kids and the waitress was not very friendly to them. I would go back but hopefully get a better server."
