We turned up to our pre-booked reservation on Saturday and were disappointed (and annoyed) to find that the restuarant was not open and had in fact closed down. OpenTable should take this restuarant off their list.

First tried calling restaurant and got a non English speaking person/could not understand at all. Remembered our Open Table acct/thank goodness and made our reservation. Not busy at all but a pretty inviting patio setting. Food was average at best. Bread average (baked in house but didn't taste homemade). We ordered the filet mignon evening special. Meat was tough/not what you could order right across the street at Red. Our potatos that were suppossed to come with dinner never arrived until near the end. Check came with the usual gratuity included (common in Miami). Most likely wouldn't return. Would spend my $150 else where. Thanks for the opportunity to tell our experience.

High prices and sloppy service are not a winning formula. I can't imagine that La Maison will be able to last more than a few months going into summer.

Instead of subjecting yourself to the madness across the street at Joe's, why not opt for a civilized dinner at La Maison. It is quiet, elegant with a lovely menu. The burrata and heirloom tomatoes were good, but I don't like refrigerated tomatoes. The raw artichoke salad was good but I would add some truffle oil to that salad. The Colorado lamb chops were meaty and tender. The French sure know how to make excellent French Fries. Joe's should take a lesson. The mashed potatoes were a little too gummy. The desserts were good but not outstanding. They also need to work on a larger wine list and be knowledgeable about it. This could be a great restaurant with some fine tuning. It is only a month old so it needs some tweeking.

Food was outstanding. Service was POOR. We ate there twice (last Thursday & Saturday). It appears they have their favorite customers and pay little attention to anyone else. If the service was better this would be a neighborhood gem

This is a beautiful spot in the South of Fifth. Close your eyes and you think you are on the French Riviera. Restaurant has many kinks to work out in order to become a great spot. Lots of service staff, however once seated and served a drink the attention slowed to a halt. Food presentation needs to be honed yet the dishes risotto, salmon tartar and burrata were yummy. Prices are a bit steep here so I would keep for date night or special occasion.

Food was good but pricey. Drinks very pricey. Our tab was over $600 for 4 people including one bottle of wine. Also, needs to add a green salad option.

It had open a month or so ago and we missed the building invite party so still wanted to try. The hostess was very nice and sat us at a large corner table. Olive bread was warm and delicious. Wine list was limited but adequate. Appetizers included lobster-caviar (uncooked), foie gras/toast/figs (delicious), and others I don't recall... As the main dishes were about to arrive, we had to switch table as a smoking couple on the table next to us made it unpleasant. The hostess accommodated on another side that was fine. Main dishes were pretty tasty, I had a spicy lobster dish and tasted the lamb rack. The desserts were elaborated and completed the night. Overall, we did like the place.

We went on March 28 and 29 for a soft opening. Authentic French cuisine on South Beach. It is located across the street from a tourist trap called "Joe's". Service was attentive and food was full of flavor and beautifully resented. We had the lobster fettuccini, prepared by the executive chef and it was amazing. We also had a filet mignon which was cooked perfectly to order. We also tried their sandwiches that they offer during lunch and they were divine. It is a great restaurant for a special occasion and if you just a foodie who enjoys great food.

New south of 5th gem that brings authentic South of France food to the neighbourhood. Great outdoor dining, attention to service with many staff members working the table. Grilled octopus app, sea bass, and lobster chef's dish were all great not to mention the side dishes and deserts. Great place to try for French food junkies, knocks so called other French area restaurants out of the park.
