For example, I had a veal saltimbocca. Their tiramisu has returned to its earlier glory and their service is the best in the Atlanta area. The black linguini with calamari was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever eaten. And my wife had the veal scaloppine and loved it.

First, it's located on the basement of a run down old condo building. Don't be frightened away...just valet your car and take the elevator to the basement. The interior is dated but in a good way. La Grotta is old school Italian. We had a lovely booth which I would request when making your reservation. We ordered wine, Prosecco, salads, an appetizer, shared an entree, and a dessert...all were delicious! The service was also top notch. We started with an arugula and beet salad with the best vinaigrette we've had in ages. The calamari appetizer was delicious, as was the gnocchi and Scaloppine Anton, a great veal dish.
