La Gondola - AshlandLaGondolaWent to La GOndola to treat my wife for Mothers Day,,,Had never been to this restaurant b/4. The experience was great and memorable. It is a small Italian restaurant. w/ only 6 tables ( very intimate) Our sever was impecable ... Very friendly and welcoming . I had flowers delivered to the restaurant earlier in the day..They were waiting at our table when we arrived.
The food was very tasty . My wife had a lobster dish /with a cheese based raviloi....I had the Manicotti,,,,,We also had a portabello mushroom appetizer that was exquisite. The food was very fresh and delicious.....All in all I highly recommend this restaurant
to anone who wants an intimate setting with great Italian Food

The service is impeccable. You haven't seen remarkable service until you've been served by Dee. There are only 6 tables which makes for a great, intimate dining experience. If you have a larger group of people don't let it keep you from this wonderful dining experience. Not only was our waiter witty and charming he was helpful in providing a couple wine tastes before I decided on one. The food is delicious (pasta cooked perfectly to an al dente, light batter on the calamari, and great greens in the salad - none of that iceberg or romiane stuff that so many places give you when the meal comes with a side salad) and there is more of it than necessary but made for a great leftover lunch the next day.
