North End is packed with restaurants, most of them serving overpriced and average meals. We find it's impossible to do a walk around, look at menus and decide where to eat. Best to pick one ahead of time, travel in - parking's a nightmare, check what's on at TD Garden before you come - and enjoy your walk taking in the sights. This time we chose Galeria 33 and weren't disappointed. Great place to take our teenage kids, balance of well prepared, freshly made meals, upbeat ambience without being noisy and the service was attentive without being pushy. We'll go again.

Celebrated our daughter's birthday with a group at Galleria 33. Everyone was pleased with the entrees, and enjoyed the olives and bread before. Service was very good, on the informal side, and our daughter's dessert arrived with a candle without our having requested it. Prices are very reasonable for the North End, which made buying for a group more agreeable. Would have given 4 stars for ambience, but a 4x4 truck parked just outside our window took up the entire view of the otherwise charming street.

This place was good. Food was good, service was fantastic. My only complaints are 1. They don't have a full bar. I know many other places in the north end only serve cordials, but for me that's a huge negative since I can't drink wine, and most cordials are gross 2. The noise level was annoying. Really loud (and bad) music combined with terrible acoustics made for a night of yelling across the table since it was impossible to hear anything - and I'm not a senior citizen, I'm 28 years old. Overall, it was good, but not good enough to make me want to go back.

Upon arriving to the restaurant we were taken to a table which was not set so we were asked to go back to the front and wait until they got it set up. We were then taken to a wobbly table that was placed beside an incredibly dusty wall. Our drinks took 10 minutes to receive and the appetizer came after waiting 20 min however it wasn't what we had ordered. Another 20 minutes went by until we received the correct appetizer which should have taken no more than 5 minutes considering it was a cheese and meat antipasto. Dinner was bland and my veal parm came with rubbery cheese and a complimentary piece of plastic which belonged to god knows what. I wish i had saved my money boiling my own pasta with some Ragu would have been more satisfying

Good food. Nice atmosphere. Great service, though we felt a little rushed. I understand it's the North End and people were waiting for tables, but it's not McDonalds. Let us relax. To combat that, don't order meal until after appetizer.
