A comfortable table was reserved for us at the window on the Spruce St. side. Service was impeccable. The food came to us as requested, piping hot and deliciously prepared. My linguini pescatore did not skimp on the delectable seafood and the pasta was truly al dente. Prices are reasonable and our wine was happily presented and served, unlike some BYOBs whose staff perform the service grudgingly. I believe everyone in the group was pleased with this choice for our wonderful get-together. They were for 7pm, and when we got there it seemed like reservations may not have been necessary, but by 8 there was a wait. We sat outside because it was so nice out and because of some of the comments about crowding and noise inside, so we didn't see the inside, but the outside was lovely. There are heat lamps so even if it is a bit chilly outside, those keep you warm. The service was fantastic. There were people there for everything yet no one seemed intrusive. The food was very good also. There is a wide variety on the menu as well as several specials, and the prices are very reasonable. Another had a basic pasta with meat sauce - very, very good meat sauce. Mine was the best - a pasta dish with lots of assorted sea food in a light white wine sauce - the best dish I have had in this restaurant. The food was fresh and came out quickly and there was always someone to fill up a water glass or ask how everything was. You get the feeling they are standing around and talking about you in between visiting their tables. Other than that, food is amazing but don't just drop in for a quick bite, you will be charged for sharing an entree or coming in to grab a quick salad. but hey, that's how they get tips, and I respect that everyone has to make a living.
