A word from La Fiorentina
La Fiorentina, a welcoming Tuscan steakhouse located in the trendy Knox-Henderson neighborhood, offers high quality and authentic Tuscan food made in the traditional way. Our mouthwatering nightly entrees are made from the best local and imported ingredients, and include dishes from Alberto Lombardi’s family recipe book which celebrates homemade signature antipasti, hearty Tuscan style entrees and sumptuous desserts.

The term Fiorentina is also used to describe the restaurant forte - a 24 ounces Tuscan style Porterhouse brushed with olive oil and herbs and cooked to perfection over aromatic wood. Our menu changes daily according to availability and freshness. The nightly selection of entrées might include Lamb Chops with Port Wine reduction, Slow roasted Ossobuco and flavorful Mediterranean fish such as oven baked whole Branzino.

At La Fiorentina we offer you the choice between an intimate dining area and a patio where guests can enjoy the crisp evening air.

Good bread and salad and that's it. Food is definitely not worth the prices and it sure isn't for the slow service. I won't go back. The Chips hamburger joint that used to be in the building was better.

Used a groupon on here to try the restaurant out. Great food and ambience. We shared a fritti misto and a Burrata invernale, both of which were great. Our table had the Osso Bucco, NY strip steak, and lamb chop. All of which were tasty and well prepared. We all definitely agreed that we would definitely come back. The groupon also made it especially worth what we paid for dinner. The sticky toffee pudding is outstanding, worth the calories.

food was OK- for the prices I expected better presentation and creativity. service was poor. Wine list was also on high end- not really good pairings by the glass. Bottom line- there are alot better Italian restaurants in Dallas at half the price.

Tried this restaurant with a promo offer - otherwise I feel like the prices are a little too high for both food and wine. Menu is not very vast - but the steaks and veal were excellent. Nice atmoshphere! I wish they would become a little more knowledgable about gluten free -- it was a little difficult to work with them on this.

To be fair, I grew up on the east coast with 4 authentic Italian restaurants in my neighborhood, run by very nice Italian immigrants. So I know what great Italian is supposed to taste like. La Fiorentina uses great ingredients, but I could whip up everything they served me in 20 minutes or less at home and it would have tasted better. Sorry guys, it's the honest to God truth - I use superior ingredients. In my opinion, they simply don't earn the high prices they command. Not for their cuisine, not for their ambiance, and not for their service. If, on the other hand, you are new to true Italian cuisine, it might be worth your while to give them a try.

We had a lovely time at La Fiorentina. We haven't been to that venue since it was The Old Church . . . a long time ago! But we drive by it frequently, so last Sunday night we decide to give it a try. We were warmly greeted and shown to a table by the exit to the parking lot. Not ideal, considering that I had made a reservation and requested a quiet table. It was quiet enough. The restaurant was not noisy . . . except for the music, inappropriate for the ambience and the clientele . . . mostly middle-aged couples. The food was mostly good, but not extraordinary. We ordered the specialty of the house, the Bistecca Fiorentina cooked a little less than medium rare. It arrived quite rare. But the flavor was good and we ate every bite.

Beautiful restaurant. Mediocre food and service. We had to ask several times for dark napkins. The service was incredibly slow. 3 out of 4 of our party ordered the filet and 2 of those were overcooked. I have had a better meal at a large banquet! It's too bad because it is a beautiful restaurant in a great location.

We've been many times over the past year (always for Sunday brunch) and all is fantastic. We now come to Dallas less often, so miss being here more often, but the food is great (my wife and I have had at least 7-8 different items on the menu, plus specials, and nothing has missed). Service is outstanding--Tony has become our regular waiter and he's great--from the manager to busboys. They know how to care for their customers. Highly recommend.

This was my second time going to La Fiorentina, and I loved it even more! I had the gnocchi and it was amazing- not like any gnocchi I have ever had before. Mostly I love this place for its rustic Italian ambiance. Plus, it's never crowded! Definitely a little undiscovered gem. I will be so sad the day it becomes just another overly crowded Dallas brunch hotspot.

The service was outstanding however the good here was not worth it. Two of us got one of the specials, halibut on a fennel and lobster risotto and it was a plate of beige, moosh. There was absolutely no texture or salt and reminded me of babyfood. One of us got scallops and they were burnt on one side and the other the NY steak special which was good. I would go with the steak next time, but there won't be a next time. This place is overpriced and needs a new chef.

My husband and. I adore the food here, but there is a robust man at the front that seems to start every evening we spend there with a sour note. I'm not sure if he is the Manager, but he typically has an attitude of being annoyed, has a look of being rushed and is generally unpleasant. The good news is that the food is wonderful and the service is usually fantastic whch a majority of the time makes up for the poor initial introductin of the restaurant.

Quaint place, great service, food-very good but expensive for what you get. Seafood stew $29, not much seafood for price but very good. Halibut w/lobster risotto very good(didn't see price-I'm sure it was pricey). Veal milanese was good but $39(could've been chicken & I wouldn't have known the difference.(Cheesecake factory used to have a chicken breast that was basically the same thing on their menu)Pounded very thin & huge(def a split if you're a woman-wish we would've been told this). Salty arugula, tomato salad which was good with veal but too salty without.(&I love salt) Veal actually lacked flavor. Wish I would've tried the scallops entree. Staff very attentive. We immediately liked the ambiance/decor - it's small, cozy, and rustic. One of the reasons I chose this place (besides being an Italian restaurant) was the scallops on the menu - always a factor for us. They were delicious - beautifully done and well presented. The Branzino was also perfect. The waiter prepared it at table, and he was an expert. We paired the entrees with a light pinot from Oregon - Argyle - and it was just right. For an appetizer we had the jumbo shrimp (grilled whole in shell). The accompanying sauce and micro arugula made it a new and terrific experience for us. For dessert we had sticky toffee pudding (cake) and the chocolate tower. The chocolate was delicious, but way too big and rich for one person, so beware.

Not a good first impression. The manager and two servers were rather rude to us because we hadn't printed the voucher we were dining with that night, even though the voucher instructions said we could present it on our phone. It was quite an ordeal and left us feeling snubbed. We were seated at a table between two large parties, and servers were squeezing in and out constantly; at one point a server hit our table knocking over both our glasses of wine. However this server (not our own) was wonderful and took great care in moving us to another table and replacing our wine. The food was good, but my Branzino was poorly de-boned. Overall, the good food will not be enough to bring us back to La Fiorentina.

Our waiter was very attentive and made many excellent suggestions. Noise level was somewhat loud as we could not hear all of the conversations at our table of eight. Food portions were very generous and the food was very good... But not outstanding. Overall value for price however was excellent. Two members of our group were elderly and needed to utilize the back door to get to the ramp leading to the valet. A dining table was in front of the door with a seated party of four. No help or assistance from the staff however the four patrons were wonderful people who stood up, moved all of the seats as well as the table in order to allow our handicapped family members access to the door.

While I would recommend this restaurant as pretty good food-wise, with authentic Italian decor, I do think the prices are a little too high for what you get. For Restaurant Week, the two pasta dishes we tried - ravioli with arugula and spinach gnocchi - were bland. The steak offered did have good flavor. Wine list was good, if a bit pricey for the labels offered. A big letdown was the music selection. The setting and menu have such an authentic Tuscan feel, yet the music being played was like club/dance music. Where was the Sinatra, the Dino, the fun Italian classics? The music was a complete disconnect and left a bad taste as far as ambiance. Service was attentive, but a bit clumsy at times.
