"My family (including 2 kids) went for lunch on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. Our waiter patiently explained the menu, pointing out particularly outstanding or popular dishes, and had good humor with our kids. This is a nice place for kids, particularly for lunch. The food was wonderful and the portion sizes were more than reasonable for the price. For $10 you get a soup or a slice of pizza (about 6" x 10") and a choice of one of their signature salads. For about the same price, you can choose a hearty sandwich and a salad. I had the pizza combo and the pie was flavorful with a crust that had a touch of sweetness -- very unique. My wife had the meatball sandwich was well seasoned. We will definitely return."

"This is our third visit and it was a great improvement from the first two. We had the bocci ball appetizer, caprese salad, and Sis. pizza. They were all great. Our server was very friendly and attentive. (It was Monday at 6 and not crazy busy.)"

"Food was delicious. Service was wonderful. Restaurant was disappointedly empty for a Friday evening. I put on the reservation that it was my wife's birthday but the restaurant didn't even acknowledge it until the dessert arrived and I said Happy Birthday to my wife. The server then asked why we didn't tell her earlier and without even asking, removed the dessert from the check. While the food and service were delicious, Probalby won't eat at this restaurant again. Didn't realize when making the resv that restaurant was so far in the middle of nowhere. I was under the impression that Dos Vientos was closer to the freeway but it took us 45 minutes from home to get to the restaurant. For this length of drive, I would prfer to eat in Bev Hills"

"Looking forward to a great Italian meal...it was so-so..service was ok, but waited a
long time to even get water...the worst part was the music..peter,paul,mary...not

"We found this restaurant because of Open Table, and absolutely fell in love with it. So much that we went back 2 days later. The servers and owners are friendly and warm, the servers are great, and the food is awesome. The only disappointment was the soup. It was fine, but a little on the bland side. Everything else we got was delicious, and they have some unique offerings as well, which is nice. Plus the restaurant and the center they are in are beautiful. It's a little out of the way, but it is worth it to go!"

"Took awhile for the server to ever come by. The calamari was plentiful but had zero taste. The kids pasta looked and tasted like it had been made the day before and re-heated. Very disappointing and we probably won't go back."

"Very disappointed! I consider myself a bit of a foodie and have a particular fondness for pizza, being Italian and from Chicago. And no, I was not expecting Chicago pizza, just good pizza, which this was not. My son's was pretty inedible. I have had the napoli style pizza on several occasions, this was not that type of pizza. The waiter was nice and attentive but messed up 2 of 4 orders. All 4of us were disapointed with the pizzas. The salad dressing, onion, was quite good and spaghetti was fine. Slthough it ssid spaghetti bolognese and it was certainly not a true bolognese, If it is true that they import water from Italy for their dough, what a waste. Not returning!"

"I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The service was courteous, the food appropriate to the price, and the atmosphere was comfortable. We sat next to the fireplace and had a lovely meal. Dos Vientos is a family community so there were a few tables with kids at them, but that didn't ruin the experience. I would definitely go there again. I really hope they do well."
