I had been here twice in the past and once again, the food was delicious. Their bread is crispy and fresh. The pear salad is outrageous and can not wait to order it next time. I love the chicken oreganata dish, but this time it was way too lemony. Funny thing is that my friend had the exact same dish, but hers tasted the way it always did. I probably should have pointed this out before I devoured it. A little annoyed because as I left I realized it was restaurant week in Millburn. I asked the manager what they offered and she said that you have to mention it when you arrive and also they only participated from Monday thru Friday and it was a Sunday. Food is good and would still go back!

This was not my first time at Clemenza's. Menu prices elicit expectations of a fine dining experience, which this is not. Servers and hostess are not polished, noise levels are very loud, kitchen cannot accommodate guests in a timely manner. Imagine getting non-pizza items at your local pizzeria and then raising the prices 2.5X. I was embarrassed to take my guest here.

A little expensive for a BYOB . Extensive menu. Asked to take my food home and went home with someone elses meal and no appetizers which I also asked to be wrapped my friend asked for her food to be wrapped as well and went home with nothing. Food was very good though and would try again.

When I go to the Paper Mill Playhouse I try new places, well, that is done. I will be coming back here often. The food was amazing! The owner was so kind and made sure everything was okay. The food was great! One of the better ceasar salads I have had. Highly recommend.

Our second visit to this restaurant. The first visit was excellent except we didn't know you could BYOB and bought a bottle from wine list. Good was excellent. On this our second visit, my order was somewhat bland and not hot, just warm. The other 3 at my table liked their orders very much. Definitely will go back and try it again.

Lady in front is rude and condescending. "Italian" food is cafeteria quality with fine dining price. Plenty of much better choices (Basilico, Cafe Monet) in town within walking distance.

Looking for a restaurant in Millburn NJ that was on the nicer side of casual and this place fit the bill. Extensive Italian menu, with notable specials that were in fact special. Very pleased with everything, especially the attentive, accommodating service. BYOB.

The three of us enjoyed another delicious Italian dinner. Started with an order of rice balls. They were amazing! Crusty exterior filled with a creamy mascarpone risotto dotted with cheese bits. For entrees, we savored a melt-in-your mouth Veal Francese, Spinach-stuffed Ravioli in a light oil and basil sauce with a dab of marinara sauce, and the Seafood Special, featuring a perfectly seasoned and breaded white fish on a bed of spinach, sundried tomatoes and mushrooms. The service was attentive and responsive to every request. We arrived around 5 PM so we had our choice of tables. The dinner set the stage for a fabulous evening - tasteful Italian cuisine followed by the fun and upbeat musical, Grease, at the Paper Mill Playhouse.

Very good food for a reasonable price. Good service and good food. I'm not a foodie, but their asparagus appetizer and my shrimp scampi were both great. They have a wide variety of wine but no liquor license...so you can byob. I've been there twice and both times everything was very good. Their famous meatballs are huge...so something you might want to share as an appetizer.

We were very excited about going to Cucina di Clemenza for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, the hostess was so rudethat it ruined our experience. At first they were unable to find a table for us (even though we had a reservation). Then our food came out wrong and had to be sent back due to a food allergy. We were then asked to hurry up and leave (before we'd finished) because they couldn't accommodate us due to the holiday. We will certainly not be returning. Don't bother with this place! There are far too many restaurants in Millburn to visit a place that treats its customers so poorly.

The food was excellent, however the waiters and waitresses and the manager were very rude, service was very poor, we repeatedly had to ask for service, and some things we asked for were never brought to the table. They gave our table which we reserved on Open Table to someone else with the same name.

Three of us had lunch prior to attending a play at the PaperMill Playhouse. Our meal was great - my sister's salmon salad was fantastic and my panini was delicious. The focaccia bread was sooo good and it's freshly baked at the restaurant. All the ingredients tasted very fresh. Our server was very polite and attentive without being 'on top of us' which I can't stand. I would definitely go back...there are other things on the menu I'd like to try. Good one!

We arrived and found that out table had been set near the window with the wine list at the ready. Staff were friendly and the room was nicely decorated. The food was very good and we really had no complaints about anything. There were a lot of couples dining which shows me that other customers enjoy this restaurant as well. An overall great experience for my wife and I who were celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary.

this was a last minute selection on a visit to the area. Made the reservation on-line. Called later to see if they served wine/beer and was told they did not have a table for me!! Once a table was "found' i was told that they did server wine. what was not mentioned was that it was a limited local only wine list of five varieties. Nothing bad, just very average. It would have been great if it was mentioned that we also had the option to BYOB. Service was good, ambiance was a bit theme park. Food was very mediocre. Nothing to go back for at all. We had four different entrees. The veal in the Veal Parmigiana was tough and tasteless. The Pene Vodka mas bland. The pasta bolognese was dark and not tasty.

The food was excellent. The service very good and attentive; however the kitchen also serves the pizzeria next door which lead to some kitchen/food timing coordination problems. Also, it claims to not be a BYOB but the wine is from a single vintner that is a best mediocre.

A WARM ATMOSPHERE AND CORDIAL HOSTESS LED US TO A BCAKROOM TABLE, WE DIDNT KNOW YOU COULD BYOB SO WE TRIED ONE OF THIER FEATURED MALBEC WINES - WHICH FOR THE PRICE $25 WAS SURPISINGLY GOOD. DINNER APPETIZERS INCLUDED A STRING BEAN SALAD, CALAMARI, HOUSE SALAD, TOMATO AND MOZERELLA, AND CEASAR SALAD - WHICH WERE ALL PASSED AROUND WITH GOOD COMMENTS. THE MAIN, VARIOUS (THE NAMES ESCAPE ME) DISHES OF SHRIMP OREGANATA, CHCKEN SAVOY AND BALSMIC, TILAPIA, AND SALMON WERE AS EQUAL HOT , FINELY SEASONED AND ABUNDANT. IF YOU'RE IN MILLBURN - STOP IN - FOR ANY OCCASION ( OR JUST FOR A VERY GOOD MEAL) - PS... DELICIOUS BREAD !

The restaurant was out of bread and food. A total disappointment. The mussels (except for the red wine sauce) and the calamari were average in portions and quality. The veal scaloppine had one small piece of meat and 4 mushrooms. The penne and rigatoni pastas were okay. The service was good and came with lots of apologies...we had a big party, we were busy.. (sorry). It wasn't the waiter's fault and he could only serve what the kitchen could offer. We had looked forward to this restaurant (given their reviews) and were disappointed.

Service does vary, being very good on holidays such as valentine's day, to being ok at best during a random weekend night. Worth going to if in the Millburn area and wanting Italian Food.

The portions are large and the choices numerous. Members of our party tried a few other things including a shrimp dish and a veal dish--they were pleased with them as well. Soups, appetizers and salads were all hits as were the desserts. We plan to come back.
