' La CerveceriaVery nice place, small butVery nice place, small but comfortable. Famous for tons of beer and wine choices. The food menu is a bit small for entrees but very good. Spent almost two hours ordering tapas, few drinks, and two entrees. The service was friendly and superb! They even offered to put flowers we bought in water. Perfectly paced service, As I said its more of a tapas, appetizer type place with prices around $16 for them, so its not inexpensive, but did not mind.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic experience. FoodFantastic experience. Food was AMAZING and paced perfectly (it is mostly tapas style so shared among the table). Extremely extensive beer list, although some were quite pricey. Great vibe, although the music was a bit too loud for a restaurant at 8pm - couldn't really hear people across the table. Service was fast and friendly and they were very accommodating to our birthday girl :) Took a reso for 8 on a saturday night which was great (they make resos for any size) but seating was spaced out a bit cramped (even for a manhattan restaurant). overall would definitely recommend and definitely come back!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was great & we had aFood was great & we had a blast!!! Staff was very attentive since it was my husband's birthday... Will go back4/20/2013 12:00:00 AM“Amazing Tapas”I found this restaurant by chance. My friend had recommended another tapas restaurant in NYC that turned out to be closed on Monday nights. So, I decided to stay with the tapas theme and chose La Cerveceria. Inside, was very warm and lively - very good vibes coming from the other patrons. The menu was amazing - so many choices. We ended up with skirt steak, salad, empanadas (yummy), mushroom truffle causas and a few other things. The sangria was awesome and a little strong which is a good thing. The beer list was kind of intimidating (more than 150 beers) Our bill was only about $120 for three people which is reasonable for the city. I highly recommend La Cerveceria. .4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWill definitely go again!Food and service was good and I'd definitely go again!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous atmosphere......Fabulous atmosphere, innovative food, and delicious drinks make La Cerveceria a must visit. An extensive menu of beer and tapas options guarantees that there is something for everyone in your group, with highlights such as "Empanadas and fish tacos" skirt steak with chimichurri and Guinoa risotto. . The sangria is one of the best (and strong too!), while other drinks such as the ginger mojito are impressive as well. Reservations are highly recommended, although the beer list at the bar make any wait an enjoyable experience.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMAbsolutely Scrumptious! What a hidden gem in NY! came here with a group of friends not really knowing what to expect. Once we got inside, I was blown away by the decor.. Absolutely beautiful! we shared a total of 8 tapas , and i must say the empanadas and tacos was AMAZING....Absolutely everything was scrumptious and meticulously designed to tantalize the taste buds....Absolutely worth re-visiting!4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMI enjoyed my birthday mealI enjoyed my birthday meal there and the service was outstanding!4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMEaster BrunchI loved the food & the never ending refills of drinks. The sangria and the stuffed french toast were phenomenal3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMthe service was genuinelythe service was genuinely friendly and concerned that we enjoyed ourselves. the food was delicious, all the flavors were distinct yet balanced, the variety of flavors and textures was a lot of fun, and it was an extremely pleasant place to sit and enjoy a delicious meal.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMPeruvian food at its finestWe had a great dinner experience at La Cerveceria. Even though they botched up our reservations (made a reservation for 7pm but were entered into their system for 8pm) they were able to give us a table right away. The food was excellent. It comes in small plates and we ordered four of them and left very satisfied. Food/drinks that really stood out: white sangria, lobster guacamole, any of the potato dishes, and the goat cheese cake. Dessert was excellent as well. Dinner for two with drinks, food, and dessert came out to be around $100. The restaurant seems to run quite a few promotions through Groupon et al. We got $15 off through Scoutmob. This is definitely a place we will go back more often.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMamazing food and drinks toamazing food and drinks to go along with the best staff!!3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMTasty food, exceptional friendlyTasty food, exceptional friendly service, great music..overall fantastic night. Most definitely plan on going back and becoming a regular.3/11/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent little hideawayGreat neighborhood spot with excellent excellent food, only downfall like many Nyc restaurants is that it can a tight squeeze if sitting at one the tables along the wall. Service was excellent and the food has been excellent each time I've been, highly recommended3/1/2013 12:00:00 AMA great Peruvian hotspotWe loved this restaurant. The food was truly wonderful. The atmosphere was bustling friendly. It felt like we were plugged into something very energetic and special. Highly recommend.1/19/2013 12:00:00 AMWeekend Brunch! If you do not know about their weekend brunch, you need to try it. Our meal was delicious! You can order your own entree or share as we did. The steak quesadilla was amazing as were the smaller but equally delicious egg and shrimp tacos. We also had the french toast, which was like a dessert with the bananas and cheese filling with a bit of strawberry jam on the side.11/18/2012 12:00:00 AM
