The view was beautiful out the east windows of downtown Denver. The service was very good although our waitress forgot the soup (but it was not on our bill). We ordered appetizers, the pizzette which is glutten free and the crab cake. The pizzette was different, the crust was overcooked and the crabcake had great flavor it just was a bit oily. For entree I had the ahi tuna. It was overpriced for what you got. The fried sushi rice cake that came with the ahi tuna was horrible. My brother loved the lamb shank and it was a good sized portion. The wine was excellent as well as the creme brule.

The wine list was about 3 pages, but our server was excellent at helping us decide on a bottle. The food was good. We had the lamb shanks and the filet mignon. The lamb shanks were a bit dry, but had tons of flavor. The chef actually came to our table to ask how we liked it (I've never experienced that before). Service was excellent and the prices were just right. It was very fancy, but for a decent dollar. The most expensive thing on the menu was $30. It is housed in the Sheraton hotel on Union near 6th Ave. While there is a separate entrance as well, it may be a challenge overcoming a bias that it could be a mediocre hotel restaurant. It is separate from the hotel and presents an upscale dining choice. During 5280 week it was quite busy. The food was very good, as was the service. On another visit, however, the dining room was empty except for our table. The decor is very current and well done. There is a view of downtown Denver. The wine list is nice. Service great. Our waitress was fun, helpful, friendly, engaging, and attentive without hovering. The Petite Filet Mignon was wonderful, cooked perfectly-medium rare, tender, with great flavor. In the group meeting/dining room, the cross section log wall and the large flat screen monitor/TV has me looking for an event to hold there. Unfortunately, the snow ruined view, but our dinner was delicious. Our server was very attentive and the food was delicious. There was a quick statement made by our server regarding wine tasting, but not sure specifics. He handed something to the one gentlemen in our party of 4, so felt that was not appropriate. We were a party of CEO'S, COO'S, and VP's but only the male in the group was given specific information.
